My Life Is Different

Chapter Thirty

-Payton's P.O.V-

I woke up in Jake's arms in his room. I kissed his cheek and then trailed my fingertips uo his bare chest and traced out a heart he pulled me closer and tighter. I laid my head on his chest and circled his heart he held onto my hand,

"meany" I quietly said

"If you want to start something then I'll let you continue" he sleeply said

"When we're home we can"

he smiled and kissed my forehead and fell back asleep. I heard someone knocking on the door,

"It's open" I said

Jake wrapped his leg around mine. The door opened and standing in the door way is a police officer I sat up,

"Are you Payton?"

"Yeah"

"We need you downstairs"

"ok"

he left and I relased from Jakes grip. I walked downstairs and saw my dad in handcuffs with an officer beside him. I put on Jake's hoodie then contined down the steps,

"What's going on?" I asked

"Your father" the male officer said "beat up a camera man last night" he informed

"Is he okay?!"

"The camera man is"

"Not him" I interupted "my dad"

I sat beside him

"No physical contact" the female officer said

I rolled my eyes,

"You ok?" I asked my dad

"I'm fine" he smiled

The cops are telling that my dad beat up one of the paparazzi causing him to go to the hosptial,

I started sneezing,

"Bless you" the cops said

"Sorry it's just that I'm allergic to bull shit"

"I guess you don't know how serious this is" the female said "He's going to press charges"

"Of course he is! they just love to make my life hell I told them to leave me alone while I'm on vacation they said that they would and they even signed a paper saying that they would"

"Do you have the paper with you?" the male asked "If they signed a paper saying that they would leave you alone and they didn't then they can get introuble

"It's at home I can call my friend Jade and she can get it for you"

"We'll get it you just finish your vacation" the female cop said

They released my dad from the handcuffs, just then I heard footsteps coming down the steps. It's Jake in basketball shorts and socks,

"Do you ever have a shirt on?" my dad asked

"It's kind of hard when your girlfriend takes your clothes"

I looked at what I'm wearing "I have on my slippers"

"shocker" he laughed

he came over and sat beside me he then pulled me onto his lap wrapping his arms around my waist,

"Are you Jake Thomas?" the female cop asked

I held onto him "don't make me have to beat up a cop"

"It's ok" she soothed "I just want to ask him some questions"

I just looked at them then back at Jake. I laid my head on his shoulder,
