Jaiden POV

I was in such a craptastic mood. We were going down to the catacombs to ..... well... pretty much torture the living daylights out if the rogue that Anna had saved yesterday. lets just say, I'm not the sadistic type of person, plus the catacombs smells like bat shit, and bat shit reeks. I sighed, all I really wanted to do was get bound to Camilla and then go home, I was over all the drama that I had experienced during the past year while I had been looking for my mate. I was restless to return to the green fields of England and my pack.
Pulling the heavy doors open that lead to the place the prisoner was held I scowled. Again this was not how I wanted to spend my day, however, it had to be done despite my wishes. I had to keep my people safe.

"You took your time coming.... I've been waiting for ages,"The prisoner sighed sarcastically. "Did you bring me any food?"

"Do I look like room service?" I growled.

The man looked me up and down before frowning, "No, but a guy can hope right?"

I kicked him, "No. A guy can not hope. Tell us who organized the attack."

The guy laughed, "Why would I tell you? Mr Cranky?"

I think he pulled one too many of my strings as I back handed him across the face. He spluttered and wiped the blood that was now trickling from his nose.
"Not cool man... not cool."

I grabbed him by the jaw and forced him to look at me, "You WILL talk to me....."

"Not to YOU I won't," he spat a grin spread over his face.

"Then to who?"

He thought for a moment before looking me in the eye, "The only one I will talk to is the Sun and the Moon.... the bridge between realms."
He looked at me expectantly as if I would know what crazy he was talking about but he sighed and turned away.

Looking back at me he started to smile, "I want the pretty little blond.... you know the one with the soft round....."

"Shut up." If I heard one more word come out of his mouth I was going to...

"So now you want me to 'shut up', hey?"

I clenched his jaw harder and he grunted.

"Okay... okay, I tell you what you want to know but I'll only say it if the blinds here. I like her."

I was about to hit the bastard again when Gray said, "I'll go get her, I'm sure she won't mind helping."

"No."

"Come on Jaiden, we need to find out what's going on," Gray turned to me.

I didn't want Anna to be apart of this, it was too dangerous for her and I couldn't bare to see her hurt. But. He was right, we did need to get answers before anyone else was harmed.

"Fine."

Gray left to find Anna and it was a while before he was back. When opened the door a small petite form ran in, her blonde hair tousled around her. She knelt down beside the man and tenderly touched his face.

He smiled at her and pulled her hands away from his face.
"I just wanted to say thankyou for saving me Luc"

And just like that, Anna's blue eyes went from gentle and worried to sharp and cruel. Her back straightened and pulled her hand from his grasped.

"I appreciate your thanks. Why did you call me here?" her voice was equally as cold as her eyes.

"I just wanted to let you witness the outcome of our bargain."

Anna's lips twitched as she tilted her head to the side. "Okay then tell us what you have to say."

This wasn't her. This wasn't my Anna. My Anna was sweet and gentle. My Anna...... was not my Anna. She wasn't mine and I had to live with my choice.

The prisoner smiled and turned back to me. "I know who your looking for."

"Do you mean you know the leader of the Rogues?" I asked with a frown.

He laughed. "The leader of the rogues? The rogues?.... do you even hear yourself?.... the rouges don't have a leader. They are rogues which by definition they don't have a pack... or a leader. What you're dealing with is a new formed pack, they were rogues but now they have banded together to form a pack. They are the out casts that have banded together for a common cause.... they want to eradicate the pack system as we know it. We want to destroy you all the same way you rejected us."

He paused for a moment then continued.

"The funny thing is that you have know idea what you did to us. The pain you put us through. The rejects, the weak, the 'rogues'. And now you fear us. And you have no idea that the very person you are looking for is in this very room."

"What?" I growled.

"He's in this room.... didn't you hear me. He's right over there."

The guy lifted his his hand and pointed at Brayden. The omega of my pack had his hands around Anna's throat when I turned to look at him. Anna didn't move. She had this calculating look on her face as if she knew what was going to happen.

"Let me go or I'll slit her throat."
