Anna POV

"I said I wanted whit roses attached to the seats! Are you deaf?" Camilla shouted at some poor ceremony assistant.

I was sitting in one of the estates sitting rooms sowing seat covers together for Camilla's bonding ceremony. She was making it a huge fiasco full of Hollywood glamour. Personally, I thought that it was a little over the top, but then again, Camilla always did like to being in the spotlight.

I sighed as Camilla started another temper tantrum and Michele was trying to calm her down.

I heard giggling beside me and I looked up to see Jen cringing as she sat down beside me on the floor.

"She's a little... dramatic don't you think Annie?"

"Just a little," I smirked.

"Annie! Were you just sarcastic with me?" she asked in mock outrage.

A grin spread across my lips as I wiggled my eyebrows. Jen laughed at me slinging an arm over my shoulder.

"I'm so glad Jared and I decided to keep our bonding ceremony small," she smiled.

I had almost forgotten about her bonding ceremony, as Camilla seemed to be all anyone could talk about around here, even though Jen was getting bonded before her.

"Me too. Where are you having it?" I asked her with a small smile.

"On the beach. I'm so excited Annie, Jared is everything I could have hoped for. I just hope it doesn't rain.."

"I hope it doesn't as well, I want everything to be perfect for you. However, for Camilla, I hope everything turns to disaster, I'm sick of doing all the preparations for her like a slave," I growled.

"Anna! I see your vicious today," she playfully nudged me with her shoulder. "Actually, I mean I know it's a human tradition but I was wondering if you'd be my maid of honor? Your my best friend Annie, and I know that we haven't had the nicest childhood together, but it's you and me against the world.... well... you and me against the rest of our sisters. I can't think of anyone one I'd rather have standing next to me on that day."

I felt my eyes well with tears, she wanted me over all our other sisters? This.... this had never happened before, I was always the last pick and not the first.

I nodded furiously as I through my arms around her laughing, "Yes! of course I'll do that. I want nothing more!"

Jen wrapped me in her arms, "I'm glad Annie."

"Oi freak! Did I say that you could stop working? huh? No! so get back to work. that goes for you too Jennifer!" Camilla yelled across the room at us.

"Bridezilla," Jen pretended to cough under her breath.

I laughed, I was so happy.

"Anna?" Ben asked as he walked into the room. Rushing at him I through my arms around him, happy that he was here.

"Hi Ben!" I gasped.

He laughed and then said, "Your father asked if I could escort you to your appointment this afternoon?"

Appointment? Oh, that appointment.

I nodded to Ben, the thought putting a damper on my great mood.

"Your carriage awaits m'lady," Ben took off the hat he was wearing and did a little bow teasing me.

I laughed as he picked me up in one arm and swung me over his shoulder, however, I couldn't help but notice the way he was looking at my sister Ellie across the room, or the way that Ellie was looking back at him. I liked Ellie, her Amelia and Jen were the only sisters that I had that were ever kind to me. The others were cruel.

Ben pulled me away from the Ceremony preparation, which, I'm sad to say I was kinda happy about. He placed me on the ground once we were outside of the estate and I skipped down the path I knew all too well that lead to the village. The village wasn't far from the estate and I loved the fresh air the walk provided.

In my joyous mood a chins got stuck in my head, it was that song from Mary Poppins, I started to sing it softly as I skipped.

♪♪♪ Let's go fly a kite

Up to the highest height!

Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring

Up through the atmosphere

Up where the air is clear

Oh, let's go fly a kite ♪♪♪

"Aaaaaannnaaaa," Ben groaned covering his ears, "Going to get that ridiculous song stuck in my head!"

I giggled, "Its not a ridiculous song! It's a wonderful song."

He laughed at me as I started to spin and sing, "What's so 'wonderful' about it?"

I smiled, "Its a song about hope. And fun and.... well you get my point. And who doesn't want to listen to something like that?? Plus I want to fly like a kite."

Ben shook his head with a grin, "You really are a carefree spirit."

I shrugged, "Can I call you Benji?"

He frowned, "Why?"

"Because.... I think you look like a Benji, not a Ben. Its more.... fun."

"Fine," he laughed as we reached the mental health clinic in the village. "What are you doing here Anna?"

"I have an appointment with Dr Smith, I'm running low on my meds," I mumbled.

I saw it click on is mind as his eyes turned sympathetic. I groaned not wanting his sympathy.

Pushing open the door I noticed that the clinic was empty. I frowned and moved to walk into Dr Smith's office to see if he was in, But a figure appeared in front of me, stopping from entering.

"Don't go in there Anna," Luc growled.

"Why not?" I asked confused.

"Just because, please Petal, trust me."

"I-ah-I have an appointment to go to Luc, let me pass."

He didn't.

"Let me pass Luc!" I pushed passed him and went inside.

And screamed.

And vomited.

And passed out cold.
