Anna POV

I was just so angry.
They didn't believe me, no one believed me. Not Jen, not Jai, not even Ben. No one. But you know what? That wasn't even what really made me angry, no, Luc made me angry.

Luc with his stormy grey eyes and chiseled body. I was angry because I couldn't really be angry at him. Although I wanted to. I wanted to be so angry that I could cast him aside without a second thought, that I could yell and scream and cuss.

But I wasn't.

No, all I felt was this numb frustration that made me want to curl into a ball and die, all because I couldn't get truly angry at Luc.

Basted.

I was walking up the sand dunes kicking the sand as I went. I was almost off the beach, almost at the estate and I found myself picking up the pace. It was as if something was pulling me along, pulling me against my will to some location. I didn't know what, but with a sigh I decided to just let go and go to the place I was being pulled.

As I entered the estate, the shadows swarmed me, coaxing me towards them. They swirled and danced, I started to laugh, and dance with them. Colours flashed with in the shadows, like the way a rainbow appeared when light reflected through a crystal. It was simply wonderful. All my worries about Luc left me in that instant.

I danced with the shadows until I walked straight into a wall. Falling to the ground I rubbed my head, looking up at the wall I had walked into. A thought suddenly hit me and I gasped.

This was the same place that the shadows had lead me to last time!

But why? Why had they brought me here again? I didn't understand.

I lent against the wall as I tried to stand to me feet, yet a squeak escaped my lips as I fell through the wall, tumbled down a slide landing with my face to the dirt covered ground. I was surrounded by darkness. Standing to my feet i looked around me, it seemed as if i was in some kind of tunnel. The walls were made of rock and the ground of soil. My beautiful lace dress was now covered in mud. I sighed as i realized that I couldn't get out the same way that I came in as it was too steep of a surface to climb.

The only way out was to follow the tunnel.

Taking a deep breath, i pulled myself together and followed the tunnel, taking one heavy step after the other.

I was scared, and somewhere along the way i began to shake uncontrollably. I don't know if it was from the cold or from fear. I didn't like dark places.

"Who's there?" A voice demanded through the darkness. I froze.

"I said, who's there?" The voice was soft, feminine, yet i still scrampled in fear behind a stray rock as i heard footsteps coming towards me.

Light filled the tunnel as the person approached .

"I know you're there, just come out, i don't want to hurt you."

I began to shake terror gripping me as i heard them stop just before the rock. A hand reached down pulling me out of my hiding place and onto the ground before the stranger. They held a sword to my throat. Looking up my eyes widened in shock.

It was Kimberley. Brayden's mate.

"You!" she cried as she looked down on me. "You're that girl from the estate, what are you doing here?"

My lips quivered as i sort the courage to answer her, "I got lost, I'm so sorry. Just show me the way out and i swear that i wont say anything, i wont tell anyone about the tunnel. Please don't kill me."
