Anna POV

"The ceremony is tomorrow! And do you know what that means? It means that this all has to be finished by then! So hurry you fat ass up and get to work!" Camilla screeched at my sister Tiffany.

I don't know how I found myself sitting in the chapel helping my sisters finish the preparation for Camilla and Jaiden's bonding ceremony. Jen had come to my garden this morning waking me from my troubled sleep as she dragged me here.

I really wasn't in the mood to be doing this.

"This is ridiculous! She's ordering us around like we're slaves not her sisters," Jen growled. I think she was just as annoyed as I was.

"It's her day I guess...." I sighed and Jen looked at me empathetically.

"I'm sorry Annie. You know I believe you. You are Jaiden's mate and I think that he is an idiotic pig for not seeing it. Im sorry that you have to watch this happen..." Jen told me pulling me into a hug that I happily accepted.

If only she knew what I was going to do.

"What did you just say?!" Camilla snarled at Jen approaching us from across the room.

Jen gulped then turned to confront Camilla, "I said that I believe Anna. I believe that you manipulated this whole 'mate' scenario for your own gain. You are not Jaidens mate, you don't even want to be his mate. I see how you look at him, you look at him as if he's an object for you to use. All you want is to be the Luna Queen!"

The whole chapel fell into a tense silence, everyone looking back and forth between Jen and Camilla, waiting anxiously for how Camilla would react to Hen's out burst.

"Everyone leave us!" Camilla commanded and everyone scurried from the chapel like ants from a nest after it had been flooded with water.

I went to leave too... I mean she did say everyone.

"No. not you 'Annie'," Camilla snarled saying my name snakily.

I stopped and shuffled back to Jen who took my hand into hers.

Camilla turned her back to us and began to pace up to the alter, where she fiddled with the communion cups.

"It was daddies idea. He said that I just had to say that I was his mate and act all doe eyes and innocent and they would believe me. He was right of course. The plan worked like a campion." She smirked looking at us over her shoulder.

I felt anger boil in my stomach as she admitted to taking my mate from me.

Jen must have been think along the same lines as me as she asked disgusted, "How could you do that. You-you bitch."

Camilla rolled her eyes and when she spoke her voice was cold and heartless.

"I did it because I wanted the power. I wanted the world to bow at my feet! And honestly I don't care what I have to do to get what I want."

Camilla flicked the cup and it knocked over spilling red wine onto the white table cloth. I watched as the red seeped into the white the same way that blood seeps through capillaries.

The thought of blood reminding me of this morning.

>>Flashback<<

"What do I have to do?" I asked Luc wanting to make him happy, wanting him to keep loving me.

He smiled and my heart flipped cheerfully.

"Well, all you have to do is spill the blood of your blood," He replied carefully.
