Hey! Hope you all are doing well. Here's chapter seven!

"I like this one!" Lillian exclaimed, running to a large Christmas tree. The rest of the group caught up with her. Tina's dad had driven them all to a store that sold Christmas trees during the holiday season so they could buy decorations for the upcoming dance.

"Would this fit into the gym?" Faris asked. "I mean, it'll obviously fit in the gym, but will it fit through the doors?"

Taylor thought for a second. "I believe it would," she said. "If it's the one we like, lets get it."

The five lifted the tree to pay, and they soon secured it into the bed of the truck they had arrived in. They went back inside of the store in search of more decorations. They found lights, streamers, tree decorations, and a couple fold-able tables. Peyton spotted  some mistletoe and grabbed two. They paid, and left the store.

Susan and Bastion walked to a nearby Dollar Tree, hand-in-hand of course. They entered and looked for items for their school skit. They searched around, finding a toy bow and arrows with a quiver, and an apple. They bought the items and walked back to Susan's house. Once inside, Susan went straight to her room and grabbed a black dress and sewing kit.

"What's that for?" Bastion asked,

"Well, I don't wear this dress anymore, and I thought it'd be neat if i could sew on some fabric and buttons to make it look more like Wednesday's."

"Oh, smart."

About fifteen minutes had passed, and Susan had finished sewing the material onto her dress. She held it up and smiled at her work. "I'll be right back," she said, standing and rushing into her room. She walked back out with the dress, tights, and flats on. She grabbed the quiver, swung it onto her back, and grabbed her bow. "How do I look?" She asked, twirling around, causing her dress to fan out.

"Adorable as always," Bastion replied.

(A time skip has magically appeared out of thin air somehow!)

It was Friday, seventh period. The drama students were allowed to leave to the restroom to change into costumes if they had any. Usually, Bastion and Susan weren't very nervous when performing. But this time, they had to perform in front of a few select other classes, not just that periods' students. This meant that Susan was dreadfully terrified at what the other students would say about her act. She and Bastion also had to go last, so they'd end the entire show.

The curtains opened. First was a pair doing 'Helpless', a Hamilton song. The next act was a group of four doing 'Aaron Burr, Sir,' another Hamilton song. The next groups and pairs went, and lastly, it was Susan and Bastion's time to shine. As Susan started to hyperventilate, Bastion bent down and kissed her cheek. "We'll do great."

(Bastion's singing will •look like this•, and Susan's "will look normal".)

The performance started with the two standing a few feet away from each other. The music started.

"Once, I was hopeful...

"Thought we were one.

"Life less than perfect,

"Finally begun.

"But, now I wonder...

"Are we undone?

"I wanna treasure you in death as well as life...

"I wanna cut you with my love and with my knife...

"But can I live as your tormentor and your wife?

"When I am crazier than you,

"I'm crazier than you,

"And nothing up 'till now has proved me wrong.

"I'm crazier than you,

"That's just the overview.

"So get on board or simply move along!"

•I'm not impulsive-•

"And yet I truly love you."

•I'm not deranged-•

"I've never asked that of you!"

•But in this moment,

•I feel I've changed.

•I wanna climb Mt. Everest, go to Mozambique...

•I wanna be impulsive, want to be unique...

•Do you believe I mean it when you hear me shriek?

•That I am crazier than you,

•I'm crazier than you,

•And now I'll prove to you exactly how.

•I'm crazier than you,

•I'll do what you can do.

•From here on in I give my solemn vow!•

As they sang, Susan pulled out the apple they had stored inside the quiver and tossed it to Bastion, who then held it on his head.

"Pluck the arrow from it's quiver,

"Hold it in your hand be brave..."

•Pierce the apple, not the liver,

•Or we're dancing on my grave!•

"Place it in the bow and steady..."

•Can't you shoot that thing already?!•

Susan brought down the bow.

"I wanna demonstrate that fear is my ideal!"

•Girl, believe me fear is your ideal!•

"'Cause in the moment that you're frightened life is real-"

•Then my life must be real-real!•

The two began to sing in unison. (They're both gonna have quotation marks)

"And in a flash when I release and seal the deal!

"I'm crazier than you!

"I'm crazier than you!

"And nothing hurts me when I hear you say,

"I'm crazier than you,

"Psychotically into,

"And that is all I need to face the day!"

They grabbed each other's hands.

"I'm crazier than you!

"I'm crazier than you!

"And live or die I'll let you have control!

"I'm crazier than you!

"So say you love me, too!

"From here on in, you're singing to my soul..."

The faced the crowd.

"My soul!"

The music cut, and the audience clapped and cheered. The curtains closed. A few seconds after that, Susan grabbed Bastion's face and kissed him. Bastion lifted her up and spun her around in the air, both of them a blushing mess. Once they ended their kiss, Bastion impulsively asked, "Will you be my girlfriend?"

Susan blushed even deeper, but smiled and exclaimed "Yes! Of course!"

The two walked backstage holding hands. But, a student had been watching them from the opposite door connecting the stage and backstage, and saw the whole thing.

This person was Nicholas.
