Hello! I hope you guys enjoy this chapter, I've been having very bad writer's block, and I'm going to try to write this all in one sitting to get it out before Christmas. Anyways, enjoy.

Faris fiddled with his fingers, waiting for Taylor at the local coffee shop. He wanted to see her the day before, but they had to buy items for the dance, which put their plans to a hold. He took another sip of his beverage and soon saw Taylor walk into the store and take her hood off, kicking the snow off her boots before fully entering. She quickly spotted Faris and made her way over to him.

"Sorry I'm late," she apologized. "I got twice as much homework than usual today. I'll be right back." She set down her small purse onto the table and went to one of the baristas to order a coffee. She ordered a strong, black coffee with an excessive amount of sugar and made her way back to Faris with her drink. She took a large swig.

"So..." Faris started nervously. "I have a q-question to ask you..."

"Yes?"

"I was wondering if.." He took in a deep breath. "If you'd like to go to the dance with me tomorrow night?"

He said his words so quickly that it took Taylor a few seconds to understand what he had said. Her face went bright pink. She then smiled. "Of course."

"I mean, I-I understand if you don't want to, I just- Wait, what?"

"I said of course," Taylor restated. She then leaned over the table, took Faris' chin with her hand and pulled him towards her, kissing him gently.

It was the last period, and Peyton and Lillian sat and laughed together, waiting for the bell to dismiss them. A silence soon fell upon the two. Peyton then remembered the drawing of Lillian they had finished, and decided to tweak it a bit. They wrote eight words in bright, bold colors and tapped Lillian's shoulder. She turned Peyton's way and was greeted by the drawing, folded in half.

"This is for you," they said shyly. Lillian smiled and unfolded the paper. She gasped and covered her mouth as tears started to form in her eyes. The drawing was Lillian making a heart with her hands, and above that wrote 'Will You Go to the Dance with Me?' Lillian immediately hugged Peyton and whispered "Yes! Of course!" Into their ear.

It was the night of the dance. Faris and Peyton stood outside of the gym, awaiting their dates' arrival. Taylor and Lillian soon walked up to them and they all walked in.

There wasn't much to say about the dance. Everybody enjoyed themselves and danced. Bastion and Susan got many glances and hurtful words from some, but they blocked out the bullies and danced together blissfully. The other four danced with their respective partners, with Taylor properly asking Faris to be her boyfriend, to which he of course, said yes. Lillian had wanted to ask Peyton to be her significant other, but an odd wave of anxiety washed over her usually confident self every time she had the thought. She decided she'd just stay and enjoy the moment before making any change.

As the last song played, the couples swaying shared kisses, hugs, and simply held each other as they swayed gently to the slow music before the dance came to an end.
