It was like the year had started only yesterday, yet it was already ending. Although it seemed many just wanted to get the heck out, our main characters were rather upset about leaving.

"It just flew by..." Susan said.

"I know," Bastion replied, "and so much has happened."

"It's gonna be hard not seeing you every day."

"Yeah."

"Alright, everyone!" Mr. Grodin began, "as you know, the school year is coming to a close. And to celebrate, we have begun a tradition for a select amount of students to hop on a boat and head to Catalina Island!"

"That sounds fun," Bastion whispered.

"The way to sign up is to head to the office tomorrow morning, during  lunch and after school to sign up. Only a hundred students will be allowed to go. Once you sign up, you'll be given a paper with the details."

"We should totally sign up!" Bastion said.

"I don't know," Susan began, "I'm not too good of a swimmer. And isn't Catalina known for their snorkel stuff?"

"Yes, but we'll be wearing wet suits. Once you're in the water, you just float."

"Well...Alright. I'll sign up with you."

"Trust me, it'll be a lot of fun."
