Hello! ;))))
My name is Kat, and this is Inanimate High! My very first Inanimate Insanity fanfic, where everybody is a human (except Baxter) with human names going to high school (because I have nothing else to do with my 13 year old "angsty" self :...
The sun was setting, and the night soon approached. Everybody had eaten dinner and headed back to their cabins. Bastion helped Susan get onto the top bunk, as she was to small to get up by herself, and there were no ladders to get onto the bunk (weird, right?). As Bastion picked up Susan, Dominic scowled while he watched. Once Susan was on her bunk, Bastion kissed her goodnight and laid on the bottom bunk.
About halfway through the night, Susan woke up with a cold sweat. She didn't recall having a nightmare, but she felt as I'd she'd had the worst nightmare of her life. As she scanned the room, she began to see things. Tentacles slithered around the bunk-beds, wrapping around the sleeping students.
Shit, she thought, I didn't take my pills...
She leaned over the side of the bunk, looking down at Bastion.
"Bastion!" She whisper-shouted, "Bastion!"
"Hm? Yeah, Susie?"
"Can y-you hand me my pills and water, p-please?"
Bastion immediately sat up and leaned over. He had expected something like this would happen, so he had set out the pill bottle and a water bottle by his bed. He grabbed the pills and took two out of the bottle, and grabbed the water. He stood up next to Susan.
"Hold out your hand," he said. Susan held out her hand and Bastion placed the small pills into her hand. She popped the pills into her mouth. Bastion then opened and handed the water to Susan, and she quickly drank it.
"Thanks," she said, handing the bottle back to him.
"No problem, cupcake," he replied. He laid back onto his bed and went back to sleep.
The next morning arrived. Everybody had gotten dressed and had breakfast. After everyone was ready to start the day, they all had to find a friend and go to an instructor. After they had done that, the groups split up to do their separate things.
"Alright, everyone!" A woman called to a group. "My name's Emily, feel free to call me Em! Today, you guys are going to go snorkeling. You all have ten minutes to change into your swimsuits and grab your towels."
The group did what was told, and they came back to their group. This group had Susan, Bastion, Molly, Ava, Oliver and Page. Emily showed the students the wet suits and how to put them on, as well as the snorkel masks. Once everybody had their suits on, they went down to the beach and went into the water. It took a good seven minutes to get pass the waves, but it was smooth sailing after that. After an hour had passed, the group left the water and went to the docks, where they were allowed to jump into the water.
After everybody was dressed, they continued the day hiking, eating, and visiting different small buildings where they talked about fish, plankton, and all sorts of different ocean things. At around eight o'clock, the groups were taken outside for rock climbing. Susan and Bastion climbed for about twenty minutes before deciding it was time to go back to their cabin. They went back, and had a while to themselves before their roommates came back.
"Y'know, prom's coming up soon," Bastion started.
"I thought prom was only for Juniors and Seniors?" Susan said.
"Not exactly. The principal decided that there'll be two proms this year; one for Juniors and Seniors, and the other for Freshman and Sophomores."
"That's cool."
"So, uh...Will you go to prom with me?"
"Bastion, I would love to. But, I can't dance."
"Well, we can practice."
"Here?"
"Yeah."
"Um..Alright."
The two git up, and got into their positions. Bastion then began to tech Susan how to do a simple slow dance. Susan was surprised at how good Bastion was at dancing.

(I used a base. I was bored on a trip to a relative's house. I'm sorry, but I do not know the original artist.)
After a short while, people began to come back from rock climbing. Everyone got ready for bed, and Bastion and Susan said their goodnights before falling asleep peacefully.
