The day went by quickly, it was pretty normal besides the fact that clem and Louis didn't talk. She came in a bit later than usual, not caring about coming to school at all. She arrived at ten o'clock and received a stern talk from the principal.

"I get it." She mumbled as she threw her backpack over her shoulder, she had pulled her out of class just for that. She walked back into Lily's classroom and sat next to Jill, ignoring the curious eyes of other students as she looked at her feet.

"Louis wants to talk to you, it's the only thing he's been saying to Marlon."

"Then He should talk to me." Clementine muttered as she pulled out a pencil, Jill looked at her with a creased forehead as she pressed her lips into a tight line.

"What you said really hurt him, he's never really been good with that sort of thing." She whispered as she looked over to Louis, he looked like a mess. "He loves you clem."

"I love him too, but I'm trying to do my school work." She said pointing to the sheer of paper, Jill only grinned as she shook her head.

"You don't care about that, come on at least talk to him after school."

"Whatever." She mumbled, the taller girl gently nudged her arm as she let out a soft giggle.

The blonde twelve feet away from them let out a huff as she listened to the two boys bicker, Minnie sat with Gabe and the others on the opposite side of the room. She didn't really have much to do besides join in on Louis and Marlons conversation.

"You sound like a real dumbass."

"No shit vi." Louis snapped, making the blonde lift her hands up defensively as she smiled.

"But you did nothing, she's trying to rush things. She's being negative." Marlon argued, violet rolled her eyes as Louis nodded in agreement.

The short blonde looked at the two with furrowed brows. They were idiots. Louis only sat in his chair proudly as he agreed with the statement, he believed he was right.

"You're idiots."

"For being right? I didn't do shit." Louis hissed, violet crossed her arms as she narrowed her eyes at him; it was blatantly obvious how Clementine felt.

"She's trying to get your fucking attention. Haven't you noticed? Something is going on with her and she needs you, she needs her boyfriend." Violet rambled, Louis sat guiltily as he listened, she was right. He looked over to his girlfriend who had tired eyes, he could've sworn he saw a tear fall. He bit his lip as he stared at her posture, her body was leaned against the desk as she continued writing something.

"What time did she get off of work last night?" He whispered in a hushed tone, Marlon shrugged his shoulders slightly as he slumped in his chair.

"Like twelve or one o'clock."

"Shit..." Louis whispered as he looked at his feet, he still couldn't understand why she needed that job.

It only made her attendance shit, and her sleep schedule was terrible. Jill continued talking to the small girl with a grin, he didn't fully understand what made the two so close. But he knew they had a lot in common, he was glad to see them become friends. He truly cared for them.

The bell rang, signaling class was over. Clem and Jill quickly rushed out of class before Louis had a chance to speak with them. It's not that they were avoiding him, they just didn't want to be late. Louis didn't see the two girls in the halls or cafeteria, it was like they had just disappeared. He looked around with wandering eyes, he just wanted to fix things with clem.
