Clementine laid in Louis' arms on his bed. Her body laid on his as she felt her eyes grow heavy. The two of them were staring at her computers screen, watching some show he had picked. His index finger traced up and down her spine lazily, he was more focused on her than the show. She smelt different than before, not in a bad way. He couldn't help but miss her familiar fragrance. She now smelt somewhat of blueberries.
His lips gently kissed her head, the dark boys eyes fluttered shut as he softly hummed. It was an older song, one that Clementine didn't know. She furrowed her brows as she gently nudged his arm.
"What's this one?" She whispered, a small smile formed on his lips as he chuckled.
"Me and Minnie made it, a while back at Ericsson." He whispered. "I played the piano while she sang, it was a song that we made for when they were sad or upset."
"What's it called?"
"Don't be afraid." He whispered softly, Clementine nodded her head slowly.
His chest was warm, making her feel even more tired as she cuddled closer to him. He let out a soft hum as he held her like a teddy bear, his lips spread many kisses over her face. Her giggles filled the room as she squirmed, it felt like she was being tickled. Her soft laughing made his heart fill with love, she was adorable. He gently set one last tender kiss on her lips. His eyes lazily opened to see her staring up at him with admiration.
Her hand left hand held his neck gently. He wasn't wearing his coat finally. Her thin lips pursed as she thought to herself for a moment, thinking of what to say. The show played calmly in the background, he payed no mind to it. All his attention was on her. The girls amber eyes searched his expression, it was something she couldn't quite read.
"What are you thinking about?" She asked curiously. Louis chuckled as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
"You." He whispered, she could see right through his lies.
"Come on tell me the truth."
He let out and exasperated sigh as he shrugged. He didn't want to ruin the moment between them.
"It's just, I think my parents are getting back together." He said with red cheeks. Clementine furrowed her brows.
"Isn't that a good thing?" She asked, Louis rolled his eyes as he shook his head.
"I hate my mom." He hissed bitterly.
Clementine shook her head as she cupped his cheek. She felt like he was lucky to have his real parents. Maybe she didn't understand yet, but Clementine knew what he said was wrong.
"What if she's changed?" Clementine asked naively, Louis scoffed as he shook his head.
"I'd highly doubt that, she's one of the fakest people ever. If she's changed that's just another act." He whispered. "And when you first came home, and I finally had you in my arms again; I was so happy. What she said to you is awful, I don't want her in my life."
His voice held pain as he stared down at her. His lips curved into a small green as he gently kissed her lips.
"In our, life."
Her heart beat quickened as she giggled. He always knew exactly what to say to make her heart pound. She held onto him tightly as a hum escaped her lips. She never wanted to leave his arms honestly. Louis held her close to his chest, his eyes lazily closed. Ever since their date on Friday, the two couldn't leave each other's arms. It irritated his mother, knowing Clementine and Louis were in his room together.
He wasn't supposed to call in love with her again. That's not who her son should be with.
He held onto Clementine tightly as he shut his eyes. The feeling of her body against his was so comforting. He couldn't help but feel ecstatic, knowing that they were so in love again. He wouldn't fuck it up this time.
