"Clementine..." Louis whispered, his large hands cupped her cheeks. He had a wide smile, tears fell down his face and he didn't know why. Clem only giggled as she kissed his nose, her small hands held onto the lining of his coat.
"Hey there piano boy." She said softly, he ran his fingers through her dark curls. He was mesmerized by her.
He didn't know how to feel or what to say, he was in a state of happiness. He had Clementine in his hands, she was his whole world. She looked into his brown eyes, they were full of tears. The girl let out a soft sigh as she pulled away, her hands rested on her hips. The same way his mother would stand when she was angry.
"Why didn't you listen to me, I told you I was leaving." She whispered, she was right.
"I'm such a screw up Clementine, I'm sorry. My mother was right, I-I..." Louis only sat on the floor. His head rested in his knees as he sobbed.
He felt so weak, his mother was right, he was a fuck up. That's why Clementine left him. That's why everyone leaves him. He was a mistake, he knew that. He felt a pair of thin arms draped around him, he flinched slightly at the feeling. He cautiously looked up to see Clementine. Her soft smile made him feel somewhat safe. He quickly wrapped his arms around her waist and held onto her, his head buried into her neck as he sobbed.
"I love you Louis." She whispered, she tilted his head up as she gently pressed her lips on his.
He moved his hand to cup her cheek but suddenly felt nothing, he opened his eyes to see a wall infront of him. Not Clementine. This wasn't even his room, his head was pounding as he sat up. He looked around at the girly room, he forgot he spent the night at Sophie's. He let out a soft sigh as he cautiously stood up, it was a Friday. Tomorrow he and Marlon would go to the concert.
He felt uncomfortable with the fact that he had slept shirtless next to Sophie, he never did that unless he and Clementine slept together. It was always fun seeing her gaze at him hungrily. When he slept alone it just depended on how warm his room was honestly. He quickly gathered his clothes and walked to the bathroom, it was right next to Sophie's room. He looked in the mirror and noticed his tear stained cheeks, he looked awful. He had bags under his puffy eyes, his lips twinged into a frown. He hadn't felt this shitty in awhile, not ever since his mom left.
He looked at the shirt he had on, it was the one he wore when Clementine and him started dating. He smiled at the memory, he remembered being so happy when she said yes. He looked at the band on his finger, it was their promise ring. The only reason he didn't take it off was because he wanted a piece of her, he still meant what he said. He wanted to marry her, he wanted her to have his children, and last name. He wanted her to be his forever, the thought of holding her in his arms every night, that was all he could ever ask for.
Ever since she left he'd only dream of her, it would either be from memories or future scenarios. He had one where he stood nervously as he saw her, she was in a beautiful white gown. Clementine was walking towards him with a smile, it was their wedding day. It was a day where the two of them promised to love eachother forever, the two of them said 'I do'. He wanted that so bad, he wanted her so bad. He had abandonment issues honestly, from his mother.
After he had gotten his parents divorced and told them what happened, she would say nasty things. They even put him in Ericsson. He was lucky to have made many friends, but when it closed down they all had to go back home. Certain kids didn't go back to their 'real' families, they were unwanted. Louis was almost one of those children, his mother told him how much of a disgrace he was.
She even told him she wished he was never born. His father took him in, but he wasn't the same man. He was always rude to the boy, but now it was mixed with alcohol. He just ignored his son daily now, leaving Louis alone with his thoughts. He met Jill and she made him feel loved, and happy. But just like everyone else she too left him.
