"Louis, I swear to god!" Clementine growled, the tall boy smirked as he waved a pickle in her face.

"I know you want it, those pregnancy cravings must be driving you mad!" He teased as he tried getting it closer, the small girl slapped it out of his hand.

The smell and juices leaking from his hand was disgusting. He let out a throaty chuckle as the piece of food hit the ground, making a wet slapping sound once it fell. Clementine crossed her arms as she rolled her eyes, they stood in his kitchen. They were trying to figure out the situation. Well clem was, Louis was of course making a joke out of it.

"Pickles are disgusting!" She hissed, he let out a soft gasp as he grabbed one from the jar. Her eyes widened as she watched the dread head eat the green vegetable.

"They're delicious."

Clementine turned away as she rolled her eyes. "Lou this is serious." She mumbled, Louis leaned against the kitchens island with a grin as she faced him again. The memory of their moment in this kitchen flooded back to him, he let out a small laugh as he shook his head.

"I'm sorry, but why don't you let me take you to the doctors? They'll tell us straight up if you're pregnant or not." He said with a serious tone. Clementine scoffed as she shook her head.

"That's a good idea, but it's expensive and embarrassing. I'm a seventeen year old girl who might be pregnant. Let's just buy some tests."

"Like that worked out last time." He mumbled, the pair had bickered a lot lately.

He could tell she was still holding a grudge, he grew irritated by that. He was trying his best to atone but she wasn't giving him a chance. Louis looked up timidly as he sighed, her amber eyes stared at her feet as she had furrowed brows. Even angry she still looked gorgeous.

"What do I have to do to fix things, to fix us?" He asked. His voice was light, the tall boy was scared for her answer. She looked up at him with squinted eyes as she scoffed.

"Why don't you ask Tanya?"

Louis' jaw tightened at the mention of her.

"Is that your only god damn excuse?" He asked angrily. "I screwed up and I'm truly sorry!"

He stepped infront of the short girl, his brows furrowed with a frown. Louis wanted to hold her hands, but they were gripping the counter tightly. So tight that her knuckles almost looked white.

"Louis you said you were glad I ran away, you were glad I was gone. That's not shit you can take back. I'm only here because I need some fucking support, if you can't even do that I should leave."

"Clem, you don't understand how much I regret that. I lost the girl I love and for what, so I would stop feeling pain? It's pathetic and selfish I know! But Clem if you'd just give me a chance I can prove to you, that that's not me. I'm still the Louis that gave you a promise ring, I meant everything I said that day, I still do." He whispered, Clementine couldn't even look at him.

Not because she was angry, because she knew that if she did, she wouldn't be able to resist jumping into his arms. The small girl wiped away a few stray tears as she laughed softly. Her nose was slightly red as she shook her head. Her curls bounced along with her movement, it was mesmerizing to see.

"You're a real charmer aren't you?"

"So does this mean I'm forgiven?" He asked with a hopeful tone.

"Louis... I don't know if I'm ready yet." She whispered honestly, he gave her a soft smile. His hand rested gently on hers as he stared into her amber eyes.
