Things get kinda spicy so be careful reading
She slowly looked up, her pounding head made it hard for her to focus. A kind older woman stood infront of her with a extended hand.
"I need to check that out, you may need to see a doctor." She said quietly, her voice sounded frail, matching her fragile frame.
Clementine let out a soft sigh as she carefully took the woman's hand. Louis watched as Clementine walked away, guilt stung as he saw what he did. He didn't mean it, he was protecting her. He wanted to do a lot more than punch that boy.
Christa sat between the two with crossed arms as she waited for the authorities, and their parents. Overall Louis was more worried for Clem, what would her parents say, would she get justice? He didn't want to look at the boy next to him, he knew if he did, he wouldn't be able to stop himself from beating the shit out of the boy. He almost beat him to pulp, he thought about how great it would be to get his hands around the boys neck.
"What did you do this time son?" A familiar voice asked, Louis looked up to see his grandmother. He smiled kindly at the woman as she walked forward, a disapproving stare was on her face as she touched the cut above his brow. Michael looked a lot worse.
"I defended someone, I did what was right."
"My grandson shouldn't be getting in fights at school." She sighed, Louis looked down at his bruised knuckles. He wanted to fight back, he was justified. He did what was right, someone had tried to hurt Clementine again. But in doing so he got her hurt, he'd be lucky if she didn't have some type of concussion.
"Can I visit her, please?" He whispered, he looked at the two women beside him expectingly. Christa let out a short sigh as she nodded.
"Carol, walk him please." She said with slight irritation, the small woman walked with him down the hall.
Each door had a small window, decorated with pictures of the faculty. It was the type of pictures that'd make you cringe, which were almost all pictures of teachers. The wrinkled woman gently knocked on the door, she swiped her key and let in Louis. He slowly looked around until he saw her curly hair, his eyes lit up as he quickly walked over to her.
"Clementine." He whispered with relief. He took her hand in his and smiled sadly. "I'm sorry."
"For what? If you didn't come when you did... I don't even wanna think about what could've happened." She whispered, she looked into his brown eyes supportively, showing her complete honesty. He looked at the white bandage around her head with a pout, his gentle hand stroked it slowly as he sighed.
"I got you hurt."
"But I look cool, it adds onto my badass style." She said with a wink, how was she being so calm? He looked down at her hands that were squeezed shut, it was an act. He cupped her cheek in his hand and looked into her eyes, he was looking for an answer.
He leaned in and kissed her lips slowly, almost savoring the feeling of their lips connected. Her muscles loosened as she grabbed his arm; she felt safe. She slowly pulled away as the aching pain of her head came back, she gently held it as she squeezed her eyes shut.
"Yeah, you'll have to be gentle with your head. I'll give you something for the pain but your dad needs to pick you up." The woman said awkwardly, Clementine slowly nodded her head as she bit her lip.
"You're gonna tell him about... Michael, aren't you?"
"We have to, if what you're saying is true your father could press charges. Either way, he's going to be in trouble." The woman said as she wrote something on a piece of paper, Clementine bit her lip as she stared at the ground. Embarrassment flooded over her as Louis gently cupped her knee. "I'm calling your father as well young man, we have no tolerance for-"
