Clementine looked at the her hands, they were shaking from how nervous she was. Her mom would usually come in around a hour, she bit her lip as she tapped the hard chair. She was in the hospital, waiting to see Lee one last time before she left, she atleast owed him that.

She let out a shaky breath as her name was called, she looks behind her to see a kind looking woman. Her long dark hair was set in a bun as her fair skin was covered by purple scrubs. Clementine let out a shaky sigh as she stood up, the hospital was too bright for her liking, the white on white walls made it harsher.

The older woman guided her towards a room, the light blue curtain hid what was inside. As she walked in, she felt her body go weak. Seeing lee look so lifeless, dead and pale, it was terrifying. She slowly walked forward, with tears stinging her eyes, her small hand rested on his as she released a sigh.

"I'll leave you two alone." The woman whispered as she shut the door.

"Lee..." She whispered, small tears rolled down her cheeks as she whimpered. "I'm so, so sorry! I'm sorry, I'm so fucking sorry."

She buried her head into her hands, they had begun to feel damp due to the tears. Her heart ached for her father figure, he was such a good man. He deserved nothing but greatness and luck. She looked at him, just wishing she would see some type of movement.

"I'm sorry for leaving you, for leaving all of you. But if you and Carly aren't my parents, then I don't want anyone else... I can't go back in the system."

Her voice cracked, she had never sounded more broken. She looked at their hands, praying to whatever god there was that there would be some type of movement. Just like the movies. She wanted atleast his pinky to move, even a small flinch. Anything would make her stay in this moment honestly, a text from one of her loved ones, a single movement from Lee, even just a sign that she shouldn't leave.

She had nothing, no sign saying she shouldn't leave. Yes she had reasons to stay, but what was the point if she would be taken anyways. Plus, she already gave Louis the letter. She slowly left the building, her head hanging low as her eyes were puffy. This girl, felt so broken. At eight in the morning on a Monday, she already felt like shit.

Louis felt himself slowly wake up, the events from yesterday flooded his mind as he grinned. He slowly slid his hand towards the empty space beside him, expecting to feel his girlfriends warm body, instead he felt nothing. His smile suddenly dropped as he peeked an eye open, seeing the empty space where she should've been. A small frown took over his lips as he sighed, he was hoping he could hold her in his arms a little longer.

He picked up his phone and stared at the time, curse words escaped his lips as he jumped out of bed, not caring about how he had no pants on. He was definitely going to be late. As Louis' eyes searched the room, he saw even all her clothes were gone. He'd see her at school, it wasn't too big of a deal. Maybe they'd cuddle after school, he liked that idea. A small smirk formed against his lips as he gathered clothes, if he was gonna be late, it mine as well be fashionably.

He quickly ran to the shower, his body was soothed by the warm water splashing on his skin. He couldn't wait to see the curly haired girl, yesterday was the best day of his life. She excepted his promise ring, he got to hangout with his friends and girlfriend, they went on a date, and the shared another intimate moment. She was so beautiful, inside and out. Hell, he'd even go as far to say perfect.

As he got dressed he saw a sheet of paper on his desk, it was so out in the open. It stood out from the cluttered mess on the table, due to him setting her there. He slowly walked forward, seeing his name written in her hand writing. As he picked it up he smiled gently, it was a note from her. As he started to open the paper, his father called his name.
