Not many people were out, after all, she was a teenage girl. No one in the neighborhood really cared to help, they all said the same thing.
"I'll keep an eye out."
Louis clutched his phone in his hand, after reading that letter he sent her many's texts. He tried calling her many times as well, just praying she'd answer. Duck stood next to the freckled boy, his eyes were wide as his stomach churned. The boys childhood friend ran away, he looked at Louis with wide eyes, he had an idea.
"Give me your phone!" He shouted, Louis stared at him with furrowed brows as they continued to walk.
"Why?"
"Don't you have some dumb thing where you can see her location, that's on all iPhones?" He asked, Louis' eyes widened as he quickly pulled out the smart phone.
He unlocked it and quickly pulled it up, it was being so slow. The two of them stopped on the sidewalk, their bodies jittery as they waited for the screen to load. Finally the screen showed, making it apparent on how many people he had there. Duck looked at him with furrowed brows as Louis only shrugged.
"She... she's not here?" He whispered.
"W-What do you mean?" Duck asked, this was the only idea he had, and it was ruined.
"I mean she's not fucking showing up... Fuck! She's gone and we have no idea where the hell she is!" He shouted, his brows furrowed
Duck looked at the boy with a saddened expression, both of them were losing someone so important. Louis felt like an idiot, she basically told him so many times she wanted to run away. She even asked him to come with her. If he had listened... payed attention to what she was really saying, he could've been with her right now.
He would've honestly run away with her if he knew she was going to leave anyways. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with that girl, no matter the cost. He wanted to run his fingers through her curls, smell her familiar, and beautiful scent. He just wished last night never ended, he wished he could've held her longer.
Violet walked forward, her body was slouched as fresh tears covered her cheeks. She was a wreck. She felt so guilty for the words she said, for the last thing she said to Clementine. She looked at Louis, her brows creased in worry as she ran forward.
"D-did you find her?"
"If I found her, I wouldn't be standing out here. I'd be fucking smothering her with love." He said half jokingly. The three of them stood there, no words exchanged. Violet felt guilty for what she last said, Duck was worried about his best friend, terrified even, and Louis felt heartbroken. He felt abandoned even, she left him, without even telling him the real reason. He felt hurt.
"I'm sorry Louis, I'm so fucking sorry. The last thing I said to her... was so fucking shitty." She sobbed, her hands covered her face as Louis stared in shock. He never saw the blonde cry. "She was only trying to help me, and I lashed out like a bitch."
"Violet..." Louis said sternly "what did you do?"
Duck stood awkwardly between the two, Violet looked up guiltily as a soft whimper escaped her lips.
"I told her I never wanted to see her again, that her advice was shit. I said a lot of shitty stuff I can't remember, I was drinking my moms fucking wine." She admitted shamefully, Louis' jaw tightened hearing this. Hearing how she spoke to Clementine before she ran away.
"Why... why the fuck would you do that?" He hissed, anger took over his body as the short blonde stared up at him, her own brows furrowed.
"Don't act like you're innocent, we've all said shit we regret! We all hurt her!" She shouted. "She was broken and we all made it worse, but it was her choice to runaway."
