Louis scrolled through his camera roll, staring at the pictures they took today. He smiled at each silly one of Clementine, seeing her smile made his heart jump. His arms were still wrapped around the girl. Her body kept tossing and turning. He didn't think much of it at the time. Louis was too distracted on the photos of her.
"Lee... no." She whispered, Louis looked down quickly. He set the phone down as he sat up in her bed, the boys eyes were wide with worry. Louis watched a tear roll down the girls cheek as she weakly shook her head. Her hands held onto Louis tightly as she cried.
"Nurses, somebody!" She cried louder, Louis held her close to his chest as he shook his head.
His hands gently shook her awake. Clementines eyes were wide, her small arms quickly wrapped around her boyfriends neck as she cried.
"I know Clem... it's okay." He cooed, his soft lips kissed her head gently. The boys shirt grew damp but he didn't mind. He held onto his girlfriend tightly as she calmed down, the petite girl shook her head with pain.
"I... I'm sorry."
He lifted her chin slightly, a small smirk played on his lips as he shook his head. His brown eyes gazed at every feature of hers, he noticed the small scar she had above her eyebrow as he frowned.
"What was it this time?" He whispered, Clementines eyes widened slightly as she looked down.
"This time?" She asked.
Louis gently kissed her head as he chuckled. "You always furrow your brows or frown a bit. But nothing is usually ever this bad." He said quietly, the dread heads smile disappeared as he let out a sigh. "I'm just worried."
His tone was gentle. The girls small hands held onto him tightly, his body heat was comforting. She contemplated telling him about her dream, it wasn't a fun story. She let out a small huff as she shrugged her shoulders.
"It was just about the crash, the one I went through with my parents. And the crash that made Lee... be hospitalized." She said with a voice crack. Louis visibly frowned, she was upset.
He hated seeing the small girl so distraught, he felt a stabbing in his chest at the sight. He knew Clementine felt vulnerable like this. He was lucky to see her so soft. The boys lips lovingly kissed her head, his eyes shut as Louis released a sigh.
"Clementine I love you. I'm so sorry for all the shit you've gone through, you'll be okay... I promise." He whispered, Clementine only nodded her head as she let out a huff.
"At lease I have those cute ass pictures of you from today." He teased, making Clementine groan as he held her body close to his.
"Please no." She hissed in annoyance, he let out a throaty chuckle as he shook his head.
"This is my new wallpaper."
Clementine gently punched his arm as she rolled her eyes. Louis quickly set it as his wallpaper with a wide grin, a little too wide in Clementines opinion. She let a small smirk form on her lips as she released a defeated sigh. He was adorable. She slowly got up from the bed, her feet dangled on the edge as her head hung low.
She felt a sudden sadness that she couldn't describe. It was like a wave of overwhelming emotions had rushed over her, after feeling so happy for so long. She couldn't help but frown as she stared at her short legs. She felt like she was drifting away, sitting on the edge of her orange bed. Louis looked up at Clementine with worry as he sighed.
His hand rested on her back, rubbing gently in circles as he sat up.
"What's up?" He whispered, his voice was soft and caring.
