"Aj!" Clementine gasped, the small boy kept squirming as she tried cleaning his face. "Keep still!"
"I don't want your saliva on me!" He hissed as he slapped her hand away.
The two of them were waiting outside of Lee's room, Carly had taken the two out of school early so they could see their dad. Clem's first day back was frustrating, with the constant lectures from adults, and the hassling of other teens. It felt like too much. Mitch seemed off as well, he had his headphones in half the day, and his eyes were blood shot. She was pretty sure he was high honestly. The two of them were yelled at by almost every teacher and he just laughed.
"Can we go now?" She'd mumble, the only reason they let the two leave was because of her sad face.
Jill guarded the two from any nosy teens, many rumors had been floating around. It upset Louis deeply. It was like they had no privacy.
"Both of you settle down, we'll be inside soon." Carly mumbled, her messy brown hair was tied in a bun again. The bright white area was almost blinding. A slender woman in purple scrubs came out, her blonde hair was tied in a low ponytail as she sighed.
"You can come in."
Aj quickly stood up, his small legs ran into the room that held his unconscious father. Clem and Carly slowly trailed behind, their footsteps were it slower than Aj's. Almost reluctant to go in as they saw the motionless man laying down. He looked so pale, his lips were also very dry. Aj stood by the mans side, his eyes held tears as he looked down.
"Lee..." Carly whispered, her hand rested on her husbands as she let out a soft whimper.
She did this every time they came, Clementine stood at the foot of his bed. She looked at the sad sight, her mother and brother sobbing over this man. Clementine was still in shock. Her arms were crossed as she released a gentle sigh.
"I'm sorry..." she whispered, her head hung low. Her hat was covering her face as she stuffed her hands into her pockets. Carly shook her head as she rested her head on the crease of her arm.
"Stop apologizing." She whispered, Clementine only stayed silent as she sighed.
She felt her phone buzz in her pocket as she sighed, she pulled it out to see a text from Louis. She furrowed her brows at the sight, what was so important?
"Mitch is being an ass, I need you to come over."
"Where are you?"
"The park, where you and me started dating."
Clementine let out a groan at the mention of... that. She knew what park he meant, but he had to mention the dating part. They wouldn't mind her being gone, she said her goodbyes as she headed towards the park.

"Clementines coming over, she wouldn't like you being such an asshole."
"You're one to talk." Mitch scoffed. "What you said to her last time was so fucking shitty, I'm surprised she hasn't completely dropped you."
"You're both assholes, shut the fuck up." Violet hissed, she sat on the floor. Her green eyes stared at the wood chips as Louis scoffed.
"Before Clementine ran away, you told her you hope you'd never see her again." Louis hissed
"You did the same fucking thing!" Violet shouted, Clementine walked over to the trio.
Her eyes squinted at the three as she placed her hands on her hips. No one noticed her, they were only focused on bickering. As she stepped forward she noticed something, Louis now towered over Mitch. His hands bawled into fists as he grabbed the boys coat. Before anyone could react, Louis punched Mitch in the face.
