There's no lemon but yet again it gets intense, just a warning ⚠️ 😂
Clementine jolted awake, panting as she wiped the tears from her eyes. She had another nightmare about her parents, the same car ride from ten years ago. More tears rolled down her cheek as she cried loudly, Lee bursting through the door to see his daughter with her head in her hands.
"What did he do?" He asked sternly as he sat on her bed, rubbing her back as she whimpered.
"He didn't do anything, it was the n-nightmare." She whimpered as she dug her head in his neck.
Lee frowned slightly as he rubbed her back, the same nightmare at least once a week. The poor girl had to go through that many years ago, yet it still haunts her. Carly walked in and frowned at the sight, Lee looked up at her and nodded, the two comforting the girl as she whimpered.
"They loved you so much." Carly said as her voice cracked. "And they'll always be with you." She whispered, Clementines sobs becoming quieter as she calmed down. Though she was more put together now, she still felt the aching pain in her chest. Eventually she got up and took a sip of water.
"Be safe." They said as they walked out of the room, leaving Clementine alone as she quickly picked a outfit.
Duck strolled by the room as he knocked, raising a eyebrow at her as she furrowed her brows.
"Yes?"
"You had the nightmare again?" He asked curiously as he leaned against the door frame.
Clementine nodded her head, biting her lip as she looked in the mirror. Duck bit his cheek and nodded understandably as he walked in and laid on her bed, sighing at the soft comfort of the comfortable bed.
"We found a house near, so I can permanently annoy you and go to school with you." He said with a cheesy smirk, Clementine rolled her eyes as she smiled.
"Oh no, now can you please leave I need to get dressed." She said as she pushed him out, he waved her off and walked away as she quickly got dressed.
She changed into a pare of jeans with a yellow tank top and black jacket. She quickly rushed downstairs and grabbed ducks hand and waved her parents off, quickly dragging him outside as they met with Louis. He grinned at the short girl and quickly took her hand, duck walking awkwardly next to the two.
"Why are your eyes puffy?" He asked worriedly as he caressed her cheek, Clem's eyes went wide as she looked away. The pit in her stomach was there again, she really didn't want to tell him, nor did she want him to judge.
"It's that time of the month again, she ran out of candy and cried." Duck said with a smirk, Clementine quickly snapped her neck to him and furrowed her brows. As Louis looked at him, she stuck the middle finger to duck highly, rolling her eyes as Louis looked back at her.
"I can buy you candy?" He said cluelessly, making duck and Clem giggle as she shook her head.
"I appreciate the offer but that's okay, I can go buy some. I'll even force duck to follow me." She said with a sweet smile as she kissed his cheek. He let a smile creep on his face as he shook his head, making a ticking sound as he looked ahead.
"Now where's the fun in that?" He teased, making Clementine shake her head as they walked.
"Yeah Clementine, let him buy it for you." Duck said calmly with a smile, Clementine rolled her eyes as she quickly nodded.
"Fine, but only this once." She grumbled as they walked to Marlons house. Louis quickly smiled in excitement as he kissed her cheek, quickly connecting his fingers with hers.
