"Louis chill out." Marlon whispered harshly, watching as his friend quickly chugged his third beer. Louis rolled his eyes as they continued walking down the road, Marlon knew is teenage "friends" didn't buy good alcohol, so he bought his own.

"I've only had three, don't be a pussy."

"I'll be a pussy when you're drinking it all, I want some too." He joked, gently nudging the slightly tipsy boy. Louis let out an obnoxious laugh as Violet rolled her eyes, standing beside Clementine as they walked ahead.

Violet didn't seem to bothered by seeing everyone, not that she was excited. Minnie would be there, along with Tenn and Sophie. Clementine held onto her phone tightly, waiting for a text from anyone really. She had taken those pills earlier, a decision she regretted. Although she wasn't relying on it, she was still afraid she'd slip up again.

Violet gently nudged the brunettes shoulder, her facial expression full of concern as she furrowed her brows.

"You okay, Orange?"

"Haha, very funny." Clementine hissed sarcastically, a small giggle escaped the blondes lips as she stared ahead. They're walk would take about more five minutes until they reached Ericson.

It had been a while since everyone was together, the younger kids would stay upstairs in an old room. They were too young to hangout with the other troubled youths, who knows what the teens would be up to.

"I'm just thinking." Clem whispered softly, tucking a stray hair behind her ear. The petite girl only stared ahead at the many trees that laid infront of them. They were going to be walking through the woods to reach the school, not that it bothered her. Clementine had a love for nature, although she didn't go outside as often, she would still make sure to admire the trees and sky.

Clementine clutched onto her phone as she checked the time, it was only eight. They had spent a while at Marlons, doing nothing besides playing video games and catching up. It was a nice change from all the drama that they had gone through, a nice distraction for Clementine mostly. In a few days Clementine had to go to Lee's funeral, she didn't know how she could stand near his casket and look at his lifeless body.

Thinking about hearing everyone around her crying as he was buried into the ground, it was haunting. The idea of it made her heart race and stomach churn. She had gone so far without crying, so long. She felt almost guilty for not being in tears as often, she felt as if she were supposed to be crying every second of the day. She felt like a bad person for being happy. The pills had certainly helped, that's what she told herself at least. They seemed to numb any feeling of sadness she had, making it so that they just didn't happen as often. Yes she felt guilt, and a pinch of despair for her recently passed father, but it was nothing compared to before.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a large hand gently grabbing her shoulder, the short girl released a tiny gasp as she stopped in place. Clementine turned around to see Louis, taking a swig of his beer as he winked at her. He wore a flirtatious grin as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Louis I swear, if you get in trouble for underage drinking I won't bail you out." She hissed, her dark brows furrowed as the other two blondes walked ahead. "You couldn't wait until we got there?"

Louis gently rubbed the back of his neck as he sighed, he stared down at the ground with shame. His dark brown eyes stared at the concrete floor as they slowly began walking. His breathing was almost shaky, showing his nervousness.

"I just... I don't think anyone there had ever liked me. I would get called loud or obnoxious which I don't mind... only because it's true." He chuckled, his laugh held no humor. It was more bland, different from his comforting roar. Clementines small fingers gently traced his coat, each lining of fabric there was. Her brows furrowed in dismay, she didn't like the way they talked about him he was such a lovable guy.
