"Wow." The man whispered, Clementine looked up confused as the two continued eating. "She acts just like your mother." He said as he sighed, Louis stared at his dad confused, his face turned a light shade of pink as he stared down at her.

"How?"

"She's well mannered, she seems shy. I remember when we were your age." He said with a smile as he shook his head, Louis frowned as he stared down at The styrofoam plate.

"You guys were happy until you had a dumbass son." He whispered, Clementine looked at him with a eyebrow raised as the man sighed.

The room felt tense as no one spoke, Clementine felt as if she was intruding on something personal. It was. Louis looked down at her with a forced smile as he offered her a piece, she shook her head slowly as she rubbed his hand.

"I'm not hungry." She lied, the growling of her stomach giving her away as she furrowed her brows.

The two men let out a soft laugh as she blushed, she never liked asking for food, it didn't matter how hungry she was.

"You don't have to pretend, I'm full you can have the rest." He said kindly, she flashed him a thankful smile as she took the white plate.

"Thanks." She whispered as she took a piece, the orange chicken made her mouth water as she took a bite.

Louis watched her carefully as she slowly ate, a smile plastered across his face as she scrunched her nose. She looked at him with a smug smirk as she ate a piece of the delicious chicken, her flushed grin made him laugh softly as he stared at her. The two almost forgot about the man infront of them, it was almost as if they were alone. He studied her facial features as she looked at him curiously, each tiny mark on her face made him love her even more. Each facial feature of hers he wanted to kiss, he found himself gawking at her for long, his father awkwardly cleared his throat as he stood up.

"I need to talk to you alone, Louis." He whispered, his head quickly jerked up to the man with crossed arms.

The freckled boy nodded his head as he pecked Clem's cheek, sending butterflies soaring through her stomach as she giggled. Louis followed his dad into the loud laundry room, he shut the door and turned towards his son with crossed arms. A hint of disappointments was on his face as he shook his head.

"First of all, you shouldn't skip school just for that. You also need to lock your door." He whispered, Louis' face turned red as he looked at the hard floor. "And if you're doing that... you need protection." He whispered, Louis nodded his head understandingly as he thought about it. He thought about how embarrassing it would be if he caught them going all the way.

"I uh... don't have any." He said as he scratched his neck, he looked at his son with wide eyes as he shook his head. He brought out his wallet and handed him some money.

"Don't get her fucking pregnant." He said with a sigh, Louis nodded his head awkwardly as he stuffed the money in his pocket.

He leaned against the moving dryer as he sighed, guilt was stabbing at him as he tapped his foot. He still couldn't get over what he did to his family, mostly to his dad.

"I'm still sorry, for what I did... I'm such a fuck up." He said as he pinched his nose, he looked at his son guiltily as his lips curved into a frown. They seemed to do that a lot ever since she left them, before he would always smile. Before, he was a happy man.
