Hakeem's POV
"Babe last night was amazing." "I really miss performing with you." I smiled.
"I enjoyed it as well." Tiana replied.
"So I was thinking, we should do a joint album."
"Are you serious?" Tiana questioned.
"Yes and besides the fans love us."
"Okay." Tiana smiled.
"T there is something I've been wanting to do." "I'm nervous because of how things played out last time." "But forget that, I'm gonna take a chance again." "So here it goes."
I pulled out the ring and got down on one knee.
"Will you marry me?" I nervously asked.
"Hakeem are you serious?" Tiana questioned.
"Yes babe I am." I replied.
Tiana had a huge smile on her face.
"We are older now and both have grown and I can't picture spending my life with anyone else so what do you say?"
"Yes! yes baby I will." Tiana smiled.
I place the ring on her finger, stood up and pulled her in for a kiss.
"I love you." I said in a soft voice. "I love you too." Tiana responded.
"And I know we fought and broken up gotten back together so many times but this is where I wanna be and I can't wait to make you my wife."
"Aww babe that is so sweet, but I wouldn't call them break ups, we just take petty breaks until we're ready to deal with each other again." Said Tiana.
Petty breaks huh? I laughed.
"We've been through a lot, and you were always good at making me jealous." I replied.
"Nah it was the other way around, you were always trynna make me jealous." "But it didn't matter." Tiana replied wrapping her arms around me." "Because you always came back."
I licked my lips and smiled as we kissed again.
So I know this chapter was short but awwww Takeem is engaged!!!
