Hakeem's POV

"Wait are you guys foreal!?" Bella questioned.

"Yes." I replied as Tiana and I smiled at each other.

"Like you two are really getting married?" Bella questioned again.

"Yes Mom and I are really getting married Bella." I replied.

"I was just wondering, I've been surviving the Takeem romance since I was a baby." Bella replied.

"Ha you got jokes, you should learn to have more faith in us." I replied.

"Well I'm glad you and Mom worked out and I'm happy for you guys." Bella smiled.

"Thanks." We replied giving Bella a hug.

I looked at my son who was quiet.

"Son is everything okay, you haven't said anything." I questioned.

"I don't wanna jinx it." Replied Prince.

"Jinx what?" I asked.

"Soon as things are going good then something bad happens." "And I don't wanna jinx it.

"It's okay to be happy son." Tiana replied.

"I am happy for you guys." "And Dad?"

"Yes son?" I responded.

"Continue to make Mom happy, she loves you."

"And I love your Mom too, even tho she drives me crazy at times." I laughed.

"Whatever." Tiana responded playfully hitting me on the chest.

The doorbell rang.

"I'll get it." I replied walking to the living room

I opened the door and to my surprised stood two police officers.

"Can I help you?" I question.

"Is this the resident of Prince Lyon?"

"I'm his father, what do you want with my son?"

"Babe who's at the door?" Tiana asked as her and the kids came in the living room.

"I'm looking for a Prince Lyon." The officer responded.

"Dad what do they want?" Asked Prince.

"Are you Prince Lyon?" The officer questioned.

"What do you guys want?" Prince questioned.

"You're under arrest for the murder of Caden Webbs."

"What?" Tiana questioned.

"Dad I didn't do it I swear, you can't let them take me." Prince cried.

"Dad do something." Bella pleaded.

"Officer, my son is innocent."

"You'll have to take that up with the judge." The officer replied.

"Hakeem you can't let them take our son." Tiana cried.

"Listen I have to take him downtown." "You guys can follow us."

"Dad I promise you, I didn't do it." Prince cried.

"Don't worry son, we are coming." "We're right behind you." "I need you to be strong right now okay." I said in a calm voice.

I couldn't believe my eyes. Watching the officers handcuff my son brought tears to my eyes but I quickly wiped the tears away. I had to be strong for my family.
