Hakeem's POV

"Babe it's gonna be okay."

"I'm trying to be strong, Hakeem." "It's really hard, he's only 13." "He's my baby." Tiana worried.

"Thirsty is talking to the detectives now." I replied.

"Dad." Bella cried.

"Prince wouldn't do that, he's not a killer."

"I know baby," I replied holding Bella "We have to be strong and be there for Prince."

"We are Lyons, and we will get through this." "We always do." I said with reassurance.

We waited 30 minutes for Thirsty to deliver the news about Prince.

Thirsty approached us.

"Well the good news is they're releasing him on bond but the bad news is, if he's found guilty he's being tried as an adult.

His court hearing is next month, I advised little man to keep a low profile and not associate himself with any gang.

"Thanks Thirsty" I replied shaking his hand.

Prince was finally released.

I hugged my baby boy, along with Tiana.

"We are here for you son, and we love you." I replied.

"Good because I didn't do it." "I'm innocent." Prince replied.

Tiana had a sad look on her face.

"Mom it's okay, I'm fine." Replied Prince.

"I know, it's just you'll always be my baby boy." Replied Tiana

Bella had tears in her eyes.

"Not you too." Said Prince.

"I know that you're innocent but I just know that our family is gonna receive a lot of backlash." Said Bella

"Yes people will have opinions, they always do when it comes to this family, but we can't focus on that." "We have to be here for Prince." I replied.

"I'm sorry for ruining your engagement, you're suppose to be planning a wedding, not dealing with this." Said Prince.

"You didn't ruin anything son." "Your Dad, Bella and I just wanna be here for you." "We love you." "Your Dad and I can always get married." Replied Tiana.

"Thanks" Prince mumbled.

"So how was it, on the inside?" "Did you get a tattoo?" I joked trying to make light of the situation.

"Haha funny Dad." "I actually did a couple bench presses." "Told some small tales, with the fellas." Replied Prince

"Bench pressed huh?" You need it with yo scrawny ass." I laughed.
