A girl sits in a class in highschool, tapping her foot and staring of into space. Her pitch black hair flowing down her back to her waist. Her bright hazel eyes are locked on the clock above the whiteboard. She pops a bubble made from bubblegum. Her chin is resting in the palm of her hand. Her textbook is open, but she pays no attention to it.
A bell rings. The girl smiles and rises out of her seat, fleeing the glare of the teacher. She heads to her locker, which is decorated with pictures of the girl's little siblings and friends. The girl grabs her bag and heads outside going to the bus.
Her mini-skirt billowing in a fall breze, just as black as her hair. Her red tank-top is hidden under a dark blue jean jacket. Her bag is slung over her shoulder, and her high-top sneakers crunching on fallen leaves. The girl falls backwards as she runs into some one, her papers flying away.
She looks up to see a boy. He has a muscular build, shaggy blond hair, mysterious brown eyes, high cheekbones, and slightly tanned skin. The captian of the football team. The girl's biggest crush. She stumbles up, while picking up her scattered things. People pass them, as the time seems to slow."Oh, I'm sorry!" the boy says, and helps the girl pick up her things.
She blushes, saying a stuttered 'thank you'. Her spiked choker seemed a little too tight. She looks up, making the mistake of looking the boy in the eyes. She quickly looks away, walking past him, her cheeks bright red. The girl looks back at the football captian. He's watching her leave, smiling at her.
The girl blushes more, turning away. She looks at the ground, smiling to herself. Then, the ground seems to open, causing her to fall into darkness. She slams into a chair, in a dark room. A rope ties her hands behind her. Her ankles are bound to the legs of the chair. The girl's mouth is forced shut. Her eyes are wide in shock and confusuion. They swell with tears, as her screams are muffled. From a distance, a dark, deep, male voice comes.
"Karlie Wilson...the Council has been waiting for you..."
