Let's watch as the world fades away. The war destroyed our home, and our pride. Tears stain our cheeks, and rain pounds on our heads in one steady rhythm. Our faces are dirty as mud and grit stain them. Blood dyes our hands red, from people we have killed, along with the blood of our loved ones.
The dying fire of the burning city slowly dies under the heavy sheet of rain. Wind whips our hair into our faces. The rain stings with the cold, and the sun has not shown its spark in so long. The moon has not been seen for weeks. Stars have lost their beautiful shine.
Smell the smoke in the air, a reminder of all we have lost, and all we have taken from others. The world is filled with sorrow, of hopes long since forgotten. What a beautiful devastation that has taken place here.
Tomorrow will come and go, but the situation will not go away. Our world will never be the same. Destruction and death will hold the throne of the new world.
