Trent was pacing the living room, wondering what she was going to tell Josh. She hated making Josh upset, but this had gone on too long. The phone rang, making Trent jump in surprise. She picked up the phone, seeing that it was Shade.
"Hello?" she answered.
"Is he home yet?" Shade asked.
"No." Trent said before pausing. "Do you think this is a good idea?" she asked.
"We have to come clean at some point." Shade said.
"....alright. But I'm doing this for you, not myself." Trent told him.
"That's ok. I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow, alright?" Shade said.
"Love you." Trent whispered.
"Love you too." Shade hung up.
Twenty minutes later, Josh walked in. He came in and gave her a huge hug, despite her reluctance. She let him shower and eat before she caught him while he was playing the guitar.
"J-Josh?" Trent asked.
"Yes my love?" Josh looked up at her.
"I-I have something to tell you."
"Go on then. Tell me."
"I....I.....I've been cheating on you with Shade!" Trent burst out. Josh paused, staring at her. He put his guitar down and got up, before hugging her.
"How long?" he asked.
"Two months." Trent sobbed into his shoulder. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry..."
"I appreciate you telling me." Josh said. "And Trent?" he asked.
"Y-yeah?" Trent stammered.
"I've been seeing Trin in secret." he admitted.
Trent paused this time. Josh kept going. "She....she's-" he was cut off.
"Having a baby?" Trent whispered.
Josh stared at her. "How did you know?"
"She told me when went out to lunch that she was pregnant." Trent sniffled. "I assumed it was shade's.
"No, it's mine." Josh admitted.
