She knocked on the huge wooden door, hoping they'd understand. Her own family. This was the second time she'd come to talk with them. If she had to talk to them a third time, she would. She would do anything to have them understand.
She looked up as her sister opened the door, laughing. As soon as she saw who it was, her smile faded.
"Oh. It's YOU." she said bitterly. "What do you want?" she asked.
"Cecy, please...I need to talk to mother and father. I need you to-" the girl started, but was cut off.
"You have no right to use my name PEASANT." Cecy hissed the last word as if it were poison.
"But, I'm your sister!" the girl sobbed, wiping drenched blonde hair from her face; it had been raining all night.
"You are no sister of mine. My sister killed herself." Cecy said angrily. "Now leave. YOUR kind aren't allowed here." she closed the door.
Cecy's sister looked as if she had been slapped in the face.
"But...but..." she teared up, but the door had already closed. "Where am I to go?" she sobbed, falling to her knees, her face in her hands as she cried, the rain pounding on her head.
