Every time we lie awake
After every hit we take
Every feeling that I get
But I haven't missed you yet
When they first met, it was in about the 1700's. She was a blue eyed blonde haired girl, and he had black hair and brown eyes. Her other side was already in love with another man, but she didn't care. She wanted this man so badly, and he wanted her as well. Every time they came out, they would meet each other in secret places, just talking and laughing.
They loved seeing each other, but they could only come out for certain periods of time. She hated the fact that their time was limited, but he reassured her again and again.
"All in good time, my love." he would tell her quietly, brushing his hand across her cheek.
But good time went by quickly.
Every roommate kept awake
By every sigh and scream we make
All the feelings that I get
But I still don't miss you yet
Her other side had had children and gotten married. The women's husband never knew about his wife's other half, for she kept it a secret. When he thought he had found his "wife"cheating, he went into a rage. Her lover tried to stop him, but by the time he grabbed the man's arm, both girls were already dead. The pleasant girl's children grew up without a mother, and the killer's lover lived in shame for not protecting her.
He vowed he'd see her again. In another life, another face. But always the same personality. He always knew how to find her.
Only when I stop to think about itI hate everything about you
Why do I love you?
I hate everything about you
Why do I love you?
The next time they met, it was near the 1820's. Again, she was fair haired and had blue eyes. She had waited years to find him. He was now blonde as she was, but with green eyes. They embraced the first time they saw each other. They spent their time as they usually did, walking and talking, going out on the town. But he seemed distracted. As if something was bothering him.
He told her it was nothing, but she worried. She became easily panicked whenever he did not show up for their date. She asked why this was. He told her the truth, that his other side had found a girl as well, so he would not see her as often as he wanted. She understood, for her other side was already married, but she promised to keep meeting him as much as she could. Though her vow was null and void.
Her good side became very sick. Not even she was safe from the illness. On her deathbed, she learned of her lover's death. His good side's girl had left him. The good side was said to have died of grief. She was not so easily fooled. She knew much better.
Every time we lie awake
After every hit we take
Every feeling that I get
But I haven't missed you yet
The more years they spent together, they realized that they did not belong together. He had been growing more hostile, and so was she. Their anger had grown over the years, and became a raging fire inside them both. They longed for bodies of their own. They longed to be free of these other people they shared a body with.
They started breaking apart. There were many fights and arguments between the two. Their meetings grew less and less, and they didn't bother to talk, whenever they met, for they knew it would only end up a heated debate. This made more anger brew within them. They started to loath each other.
Only when I stop to think about itI hate everything about you
Why do I love you?
I hate everything about you
Why do I love you?
The loathing set in. They hated each other, and couldn't figure out what had happened to their relationship. They couldn't even agree to be friends. They had different viewpoints, different decisions that had to be made. They were no longer devoted to each other. They no longer wished for the other's company. So why did they keep meeting each other?
Only when I stop to think about you,
I know
Only when you stop to think about me,
do you know?
Not even they knew. Maybe it was for their guilty consciences. Maybe it was because deep down, they still did love each other.
Or not.
They had made vows to kill each other one day. It was a fued to go on for centuries. Eternity, almost. Until they ceased to be born. Or at least be born in the same time.
I hate everything about you
Why do I love you?
You hate everything about me
Why do you love me?
They met again. She had black hair and so did he. His eyes were a feral green, and hers almost black. To add to being dangerous, they now had powers. Hers for fire, and a talent of making artwork come to life. His for forcefields. Fate had brought them together again, for the people they occupied loved each other. Oh, the irony. That they go on hating each other, only to have their good sides be deeply in love.
The bitterness kept growing, despite what their good sides believed. They would irk each other, just to the point where they would fight. Yet when they were at the brink of nearly slitting each other's throats, their good sides would come out. They would forgive each other, yet on the inside, the two were angered, mentally giving the other the finger.
Asswhole.
Bitch.
There truly never would be an end to the rivalry.
I hate
You hate
I hate
You love meI hate everything about you
Why do I love you?
