Umbr had waited for Ash to come home. She never did. And she had Emelia and Jace. He missed her so much it was almost like a disease. Was it something he did? Was he not good enough? What made her leave him. He sat in his room asking himself this constantly. He didn't know why she left, and she never talked to him telepathically either. This was the worst thing to ever happen to him.

Ash missed Umbr as much as he missed her. She missed everything about him. His tender words, his kisses, his embrace, even how he was now blind. She had taken his smile away as well when he had stitched his mouth shut. Everything that happened to him seemed to be her fault and there was nothing she could do. She was with Repo now, and she knew he'd never let her leave. Not when her son's life was in his hands. And now Emelia's was too. What had Ash done!?

Repo knew he had taken Ash away from the one she loved most, but he knew eventually she would warm up to him. She'd have to. And until she did, he'd treat her like a princess until the day she finally trusted him. She deserved way better than the guy she'd been with before. And his brother. The two would just end up breaking her heart anyway, and then what? She'd be depressed forever? Pffft, not on Repo's watch. He'd give her everything she could want, and then when she'd seen how well he could treat her, she'd always come running back to him. And while in his care, no one would ever hurt her. No way, no how.
Now....if only he could at least get her to smile somehow...

Umbr woke up, feeling around his bed, only to find it was empty. Oh yeah. Ash had left. How could he forget? Umbr became depressed and curled into a ball. He knew he was worrying his brother, but what else could he do? Without Ash...he was nothing. Nothing but a broken heart. Ash had been his everything. His heart and soul. And now that she was gone....

Ash sobbed into her pillow. All she could think about was Umbr. Every hour of every day, that's all she thought about. Her Umbr. Her shining star. What had she done to him? The thoughts made her cry even more. She'd never get over him. No matter how much Repo told her Umbr wasn't good enough for her. What a lie! Without Umbr, she was just an empty shell. Oh how he must feel right now. All the pain and betrayal. It made Ash feel even worse for what she did. How was she to ever get him out of her head?
