"You get Bellamy" I advise Octavia as Clarke jumps out of the crawl space "Meet us in room 184. Nobody goes in there it'll be safe from prying eyes." Agreeing Octavia darts back off through camp in search of her brother. We hang back for a moment before I check either way in the corridor. With nobody heading our way I usher Clarke off to the right jumping in front of her when someone walks our way. Finding the room I'm looking for I usher her inside, quickly shutting the door behind her. "Not that it matters", I murmur pacing further around "But this was meant to be your room."

Gaining Clarke's curious stare, I watch her glance around the room. Her eyes scope from the bed to the table only to settle on a decorative white birdcage. "You guys had hope I'd come back", Clarke whispers under her breath.

Starring Clarke in her blue eyes I've not seen in forever I nod. "Your mother and Bellamy actually", I correct her with a soft smile "I lost hope a month ago. I'd go out on patrol and watch the forest as the sun goes down hoping that you would walk out and come back." Pursing my lips I look to the floor, "Clearly that wasn't happening so one day I just stopped looking. Bellamy didn't though." Smiling at the thought I glance back up to Clarke, "He had enough hope for the both of us."

This brings a sad smile to Clarke's features, "And now you two are fighting."

Any hint of a smile vanishes from my face, running a hand through my long hair. "I have no idea what we are anymore Clarke", I admit quietly "He believes in what Pike's doing. Bellamy had no problem following him to kill those innocent Grounders even when I told him he was wrong-"
