"What? How many opportunities am I going to have to crack that joke?"

Besides meeting up with Harper on the way to a cave where Octavia has kept her low profile, the trek is silent. Nobody says a word. Although I'm sure that is because nobody knows what to say. I fell to the back with Octavia, her hand still holding tightly to mine. It's not like I'm forcing her to. Shortly after getting back on the trail I'd loosened my grip to let go however this only has Octavia cling tighter.
I wasn't complaining. In a small way, Octavia was helping me keep my shit together too.
When it is only when we walk through the mouth of the cave that I see Bellamy chained to the wall at the back. His wide brown eyes were glancing over everyone as if he is counting who is here. His look of relief when Octavia and I walk in, hand in hand, don't get missed by me. It's only when he takes in our somber expressions that he asks in a small reluctant voice, "Where's Lincoln?"
Allowing Octavia to drop her stuff down I go over to a rock by the entrance, taking a seat. When I gaze back over to Bellamy I can see the fear in his eyes when nobody responds. Sending Bellamy a sad shake my head I return my gaze over to Octavia who tells him bluntly "Pike put a bullet in his brain."
I silently observe Bellamy trying to make sense of what she says. His eyes combing over everyone in the room as if searching for another truth. Yet there isn't one. I stood on that cliff with Octavia and watched the gun go off myself. "O... O I am so sorry."
Fluidly, Octavia launches on her brother landing a hard punch to his jaw. Bellamy's neck snapped to the side I feel for Octavia as the tears and fury she has been holding back begin to unleash themselves. When Bellamy glances back to Octavia his sister hits him back again not once but twice, grunting as she releases the grief she's locked up. When she punches Bellamy over the head again, Kane attempts to step in "Octavia that is enough."
"Kane", Bellamy sternly defends Octavia actions "Stay out of this." Octavia doesn't take a second to see if Bellamy is serious or not. Instead she swiftly lands another solid hit to his head before slamming her other fist into his gut, Bellamy emitting a choked grunt of pain. It's when I see her grab Bellamy's head and throw it against her knee that I have to turn my head away from the bloodied scene.
