Having offloaded my rifle to Murphy considering he needs it more, I twirl my daggers in my grasp. Creeping up to the position where a couple of chipped men turn a cog in order to work the elevator, Bellamy leans around the corner gun to check how many. Although unsurprising to me, Pike storms the corridor firing off two shots without hesitation.
Bellamy on the other hand is running up beside Pike, "Hey I told you this is not how we're doing this!" Bellamy's voice booms off the walls as he tries to get it through Pike's skull despite Pike's protests "These people are not our enemy. They're being controlled by Alie and we can save them."
"There is going to be a lot more of these people if we don't move", Miller interjects into their bickering.
Ducking around a corner to check there are no more people in sight I return to Bellamy's side, Indra informing us "I'll bring it down." Watching Indra carefully she uses one arm and the entirety of her body to shove the leaver. Slowly the wheel begins to crank, lowering the lift back down to us.
Going back over the plan, Bellamy orders them "Once we're up you blow the elevator then climb-"
"Destroy the ladder behind us", Brian quickly confirms as he drags the dead Grounders away "On it."
"Come on", Murphy disgruntledly interjects into the madness around him "You guys do realise that we don't have a way down yeah?"
Twirling my daggers absentmindedly, I tap Murphy in the temple with the handle "Not with that sort of pessimistic thinking we don't."
Whilst Murphy sends me a sickeningly fake smile, Indra assures him "A problem for another day."
"Ave, Murphy, Octavia let's go. Our ride is here", Bellamy tells us when Pike and Miller stop turning the wheel. Eagerly I help Murphy claw the doors open, heaving them apart with a grunt. Once the three of us are inside, Bellamy is watching Octavia suggestively "Coming, O?"
With a small shake of her head, Octavia nods down to the others "If anything goes wrong down here they'll need my help." When Bellamy doesn't cease in his worry for his sister, Octavia tries to assure him, "We've got this." Just like that, little Blake closes the doors on us.
