"You're seriously siding with him? Going back to him as if the past week hasn't happened? Like he hadn't helped get Lincoln ki-"

"I don't understand it either", Monty mentions to me with a blank stare "Something about those chips."
Frustrated I take a step back and run my hands through my long hair, a stressful habit which seems to be becoming increasingly prevalent within my life. Jasper contacted Sinclair via radio whilst we've been gone. According to him Arkadia has fallen, this chip Jaha has imported from his long journey now has the entire camp under a spell. They think the same, feel no pain and claim they're in a City of Light. If Arkadia has fallen that means Wick has fallen too along with Raven.
"We'll know soon enough", Sinclair keeps him calm "Be ready." Whilst Bellamy has a word with Monty I feel Sinclair placing his hand on my shoulder. Looking up to my mentor, he assures me "Wick and Raven will be alright. We're going to work around whatever this chip is."
"Sinclair I'd been too blinded by my own internal war with Pike that I just pushed them aside. Raven and Wick...", Shaking my head I brush Sinclair's comforting hand off my shoulder "This could've been avoided if I'd just dropped the petty fight I kept up. Lincoln might've even still been alive."
Unknown to me these words of mine bring a small smile to Sinclair's features. Lit by the glow of the cave's small fire Sinclair clasps his hands together, remaining perched on the log beside me "If there is one thing I've learned about you over the years is that you're hard-headed, arrogant, intelligent girl but you love with your entire being Ave." Sending a fleeting look over his shoulder to Bellamy, Sinclair explains softly "Raven had been in a lot of pain with her leg, Wick's curiosity must've gotten the best of him and Lincoln did what he had for his people who still remained. Either way- whether you chose to put up a fight against Pike or not- they'd still be in this exact position."
"Then what do you suggest I do?" I ask Sinclair at a loss, gazing up for some kind of answer or direction.
Shrugging Sinclair shakes his head "That's up to you to figure out. But I need you to keep your head in the game. With Kane gone, Bellamy recently a returned ally and Clarke running off playing diplomat you are the only reliable leader here right now and I need my best engineer to have her head screwed on."
