"Where have you been?" Kane questions me when I finally waltz into the throne room. However, now there is no longer a throne. Instead, there are thirteen tall candles as big as I stood in two rows. From the Sigel's engraved I take it they represent the champions who are still alive.
"Speaking with Roan," I admit shamelessly to Kane as the horn to begin the conclave blows. Noticing both men send me a wary look, I brush it off "Despite everything Roan was a friend to me. I was just saying goodbye." Noticing each clan leaders and war chief in the room not watching from the balcony, I question them both "Are we not allowed to see what's happening?"
Curtly, Bellamy shakes his head "The champions candle is blown out when they fall."
Sighing I anxiously run a hand through my matting hair, hating the fact that we don't get to watch and know for ourselves. Spotting Indra across the room with Trikru I excuse myself for a moment. Crossing the room I move amongst the murmurs. Indra's head glances around at my arrival her eyebrows raised in surprise "I didn't expect to be speaking with you Avery kom Skaikru."
"I wanted to wish you and Trikru good luck", I tell her with a curt nod. When Indra continues to watch me, I remind her "Trikru and Skaikru have had a long complicated history together since we first came back to the ground both good and bad alike."
