"Yes. It was until I got word to her that Azgeda is marching on Polis which made the Commander rethink the terms of her deal."

"I bet he didn't appreciate that."

The darkness leaves my vision as I feel myself being shaken awake. Stars dance across my vision for a quick second before I'm seeing Bellamy's desperate face over mine.

Groggily I hold my hand up and shove his face away, "I'm fine." Events of what happened to rush back and I find myself gazing around the stone room, "Where's Clarke?"

"He took her", Bellamy groans "Knocked us both out cold."

Groaning from the of this situation frustration I slam my fist into the rock slab, clambering to my feet "Then we've got to get back on her trail so get up." However, when I look down at Bellamy I notice a gash in his leg, his eyes squinting as he tries to stand. "I take that back", I retract "Sit down."

"I'm fine Avery", Bellamy grits his teeth at me "It's just a scratch."

Grabbing the tear in his pants I hold it open to get a better look. Gazing over the blood seeping out of it I shake my head, "The blade tore almost straight through your leg." Yanking the scarf over my head I use my daggers to tear it into one solid strip, "I'm going to get this around your leg to st-"

"No Avery!" Bellamy booms at me causing me to freeze any actions I'd been making. Pinching his eyebrows Bellamy shakes his head defeatedly. It's then that I realise how crushed he is to have lost Clarke again after being so close. "We have to find her", Bellamy pleads desperately with me "We're so close-"

"And we will get close again" I finish for him, giving Bellamy a pointed look.

Bellamy glares at the floor, shaking his head refusing "I'm going out there and looking for her so are you with me or not?" Peering up to him stubbornly I watch as the idiot hauls himself to his feet using the stone pillar to hold his weight up.

Tossing the scarf to the ground I stand up, looping his arm around my shoulders. "Always", I reluctantly relent "Always in your corner you headstrong moron"
