"Despite everything I've always had you."

"I know. But it's never been about me- or Clarke for that matter. You've always been the strongest girl down here and you still will be in that bunker. I know it because that's the girl I fell in love with all those months ago."

The next hour had been taken up by the carrying out of Clarke's list

The next hour had been taken up by the carrying out of Clarke's list. Stood beside Octavia who is accompanied by Indra on her other, the three of us watch on silently as Kane tells his Grounder helpers who stays and who goes. Every child remains here to survive. Octavia made sure that was allowed. I saw Kane save Miller and I duck my head when David is carried past me and up the ramp. All the while the only thing keeping me from spiraling is Octavia's tight grip on my hand. Holding it just as tightly, I remain silent watching Jaha hold the child of the man who had begun stirring the crowd. His father carried away to face the death wave.

"Ave", Octavia duck out of the office. Her black ponytail of hair swaying behind her, she nods up to the office "Raven needs to talk to you about a plan."

Nodding I walk up but when she doesn't follow I ask "You coming?" Noticing the tear tracks against her cheeks, I take a step forward and lower my voice "Octavia what's happened?"

Octavia pulls the best smile she can, dismissing bravely "I never understand Raven when she talks about science stuff anyway. You find out for me."

She understands perfectly.

Warily watching Octavia turn around and wander off towards Indra, I hesitantly turn back to the office. Hearing my heart beating in my ears I close the office door behind me for privacy. Picking up the radio, I clutch the button with a sick feeling settling in the deepest pit of my stomach "Raven what's going on."

"Raven's not the only one here", Monty surprises me by speaking up "Harper and I had to play rescuer since you're on lockdown."

"Unintentionally", I comment but a small smile graces my lips "I'm glad you guys are alright." Sparing a glance at the clock, I warily mention "You guys should've been back on the move four hours ago. Why are you still at Becca's lab."
