"Stay here," Gareth shouted as he began running to the door.
"Come on, these guys ain't going anywhere," one of the men protested. I slowly tried to get myself off of the ground and to Daryl.
"Just stay here until I know what's happening," Gareth shouted as he ran out of the door.
"We supposed to just stay here?" one of the men asked.
"We got a job to do," the other replied with a shrug. The gunshots outside continued, telling us that things were going very wrong. Very wrong for them anyways. Things were going very right for us.
"Gar, you there?" one of the men shouted into his walkie talkie as he rushed to the other side of the room.
"He's busy," the other one said, dismissing him. I shot Daryl a quick look as I noticed Rick sawing out of his ties. If he could get out, we would all be okay.

"You smell the smoke?" the other man shouted back. "You hear the shots? He could be dead!"
Daryl motioned to his back and I nodded. I scooted behind Daryl, trying to find whatever was in his hands.

"The hell we doin' here? The whole place could be going up," the man continued as he shook his head.
I felt something sharp in Daryl's palm and quickly grabbed it, sawing at the ties around Daryl's wrists. He mumbled at me to get mine first, but I didn't.

"You were out one roundup and you blew protocol," the other man said as he walked up behind him. "We don't deal with security, that ain't our job. This is."

I quickly moved to the ties around Daryl's feet once his hands were completely free.

The other man began mumbling to himself as he turned away. "Hey," the other one shouted at him. "Look at me."

The other man spun around just as I got Daryl's ties loose.

"What?" he asked, turning to face him.

Before anybody had time to react, Rick drove a piece of wood deep into the mans neck. I watched as Rick slaughtered both of the men before staring at a dead body on one of the tables.

Daryl snatched the gag out of his mouth before cutting at my ties to get me free. Rick moved to Glenn, getting him loose almost immediately. Once I was free, Daryl snatched the gag from my mouth and seemed to take in the moment. I smiled at him as he took my hand and pulled me up from the ground.
I wanted to hold onto him forever, but I knew we had to keep moving.

"They got problems. We have a chance," Rick began as he untied the gag from around his neck. I quickly began untying mine as I kept the sharp object in my hand.

"It sounded like a bomb," Glenn said in a panicked voice.

"Sounded like a damn war," Daryl said as we began walking away from the tub. I shot one last glance at the ones who had already been killed before I continued walking forward.

"Right there," Rick said as he pointed to a table with weapons.

Daryl and I both quickly grabbed a knife from it.

"What are these people?" Bob asked as he finally stood from the tub.
"They ain't people," Daryl replied as he moved over to the dead bodies of the men who were going to kill us. He went to drive his knife through their skulls but Rick quickly stopped him.
"Let them turn," he said before we all rushed to a door. We weren't sure where we were going, but it had to lead to a safe way out of this place. We stopped at a room with bars surrounding it.

It reminded me of the prison in a way. As we entered, my mouth dropped. The room was full of human body parts. Some were in tubs, some were hanging from the roof. What the hell is all this?

"You cross any of these people, you kill 'em," Rick said as he began walking through the room. "Don't hesitate, they wont."
"Wasn't planning on it," I replied as I followed him through the room. Rick stopped at a small door with a window as we all followed him.

We could see walkers in the distance, banging on a train car. "If we run, we can get through them. They're distracted."

"We gotta let those people out," Glenn responded as he continued watching them. Rick glanced at him with hesitation for a moment. "That's still who we are."

"There was a man in my car with me," I spoke up. "I have to let him out."

Rick nodded before pulling the door open for us. I stayed behind Daryl, watching out for him from behind. There were only a few around us and we were able to take them out rather easily before opening the car door.

Once it was open, a man ran out in a panicked way.
"We're the same," he screamed as he grabbed ahold of Glenn. Glenn pushed him off, causing him to latch onto Rick. The man began laughing like a maniac as he held onto him, "we're the same."

Rick pushed him off rather quickly and I shot a glance at Daryl. It told me we were both thinking the exact same thing. This dude was a nut job.

He backed too far which caused a walker to grab him. I wanted to feel sorry for him, but his craziness was the reason his life ended. Glenn bashed the walker on top of him in an angry manner as he realized we saved him for nothing.

Rick quickly pulled Glenn back against the car door as he saw more walkers in the distance. Daryl and I moved in with them, trying to avoid being seen by the horde crossing the streets.

"We got to double back," Bob said as he watched the walkers.

"They're that way. If we go back we don't know where we are," Rick disagreed.

"Where who is?" I asked quickly. Hope began flowing through me as I realized they were trying to save someone.

"The others," Rick replied dismissively.

"We don't really have a choice," Daryl replied, also dismissing me. I frowned at that, but I could see they were rather preoccupied with getting us out of here and saving the others. Gun shots began erupting near us, taking out walkers.

"Wait here," Rick demanded as he began running away from us.

"Rick," Bob hissed at the sight of him walking away. I watched him drift behind a car before I heard footsteps attempting to follow him. My eyes moved to Daryl who was now running away from us too. "Daryl," I hissed as I watched him disappear behind the car.

I shot Glenn a pissed off look as I cursed to myself. I just found Daryl and he was already trying to get himself killed again. How typical of him. I stayed behind the car, still hearing the gunshots taking place.
We stayed silent as we heard the final shots ring out before everything fell silent. I was questioning of the shots came from Rick or if they were aimed at Rick.

I smiled to myself as I watched Rick and Daryl emerge from the car, running over to us. "We don't have to double back," Rick spoke as he came back to us.

We all nodded before continuing down the road leading to the cars. Once we were close, my eyes fell upon the one I had been in.

"I have to do something," I announced as I broke away from them.
"Elizabeth!" Daryl shouted, trying to pull me back to him. I knew he feared he would lose me again, but he wouldn't. I knew I had to get the man out of there.,

When I got to the car, the door was already cracked open. Though I was hesitant, I jumped inside only to find three walkers looking back at me.

I spun around to see the man from the car gazing up at me with a grin.

"Survival of the fittest," he chuckled before slamming the door, locking me inside.
