~Sasha's pov~

I slowly walked with Rick and the others, my heart pounding in my chest
If anything went wrong, it would be a blood bath. Once we walked through those doors, there was no coming back. We could've been walking into a trap for all we knew. This could very well be the end of us. We all came to a halt as we watched Rick peer at the others though the glass in the doors.

He watched for a few moments before they slowly lowered their weapons to let us know it was okay to continue on.
"You too," Rick said as he motioned to us all. We all paused for a moment before heading through the doors. I glanced at Daryl for a moment as we saw Beth and Carol emerge from the crowd. They were both pretty roughed up, but they made it. Two of their officers began slowly heading towards the two.

"They haven't been harmed," Rick said as he looked at a woman I assumed was Dawn. She seemed like a strong, assertive woman. I could tell that she was the one in charge of the place.
"Where's Lamson?" She demanded as she looked over to us, ignoring Rick.

"Rotters got him," the female officer said rather quickly.
"We saw it go down," the male confirmed. I let out a sigh of relief as I realized he was going to cooperate with us.

"Oh," Dawn replied in a sorrowful voice. "I'm sorry to hear that. He was one of the good guys."

We all paused for a moment, looking to one another. Anxiety was rising inside of me as Beth looked over at us all along with Carol.

"One of yours for one of mine," Dawn said as she nodded her head.
"All right," Rick agreed before motioning to Daryl. Daryl gave him a quick nod before pushing the male officer towards the members of the hospital. "Move," he growled as they began in their direction. Dawn slowly nodded at her officer as he began pushing Carol in Daryl's direction.

It was only a matter of moments before the trade was done. As Daryl began rolling Carol to us, Rick and Dawn began the last trade. Dawn slowly released Beth into Rick's grasp. I saw him place a small kiss on her forehead as he began bringing her over to us. Daryl quickly placed an arm around her and brought her to the safety of the group. I let out a sigh of relief as I realized things were going good.

"Glad we could work things out," Dawn said as Rick began walking back to us.

"Yeah," Rick grumbled as we all began heading towards the door. I smiled over at Tyreese as we both realized things were going to be okay again. We had all made it in one piece despite everything that could've gone wrong.

"Now I just need Noah," Dawn replied, causing us all to freeze. My heart dropped at her words. "And then you can leave."

"That wasn't part of the deal," Rick growled as he began rushing over to Dawn.

"Noah was my ward," she began as she stared Rick in the eyes. "Beth took his place and I'm losing her, so I need him back."

"Ma'am please, it's not-" One of the officers began before getting cut off.
"Sheperd!"

"My officers put their lives on the line to find him," Dawn continued. "One of them died."

"No, he ain't staying," Daryl growled as he pushed Noah back.

"He's one of mine. You have no claim on him," Dawn said as she gazed at Daryl with anger in her eyes. "The boy wants to go home, so you have no claim on him" Rick replied.

"Well, then we don't have a deal," Dawn said after a moment.

"The deal is done," Rick said with his voice growing in tone.
"No, no. It's okay!" Noah shouted as he began walking towards Dawn and the others. I wanted to hold him back, but he was gone too fast for me to do that. I clutched my gun harder as he began stumbling over there.

"No, no!" Rick shouted as he tried to push Noah back. In that moment, I saw something change in Dawn's eyes. Something sinister began growing inside of her. I hadn't seen something like that since the Governor.

"Alright. Let's make this more interesting," Dawn said as she cocked her head. She motioned to one of her officers and he quickly nodded. My heart began pounding in my chest as the officer walked over to a small door near us. Daryl shot Rick a glance as he slowly turned the doorknob.

I watched him open the door and struggle to grab whatever was in there. The other officers blocked our view as he pulled someone out of the closet. Or what I assumed was a closet.

Once he pulled the person out and made them kneel on the floor, my mouth dropped. I watched Daryl curse to himself as we all stared down in disbelief.

"Give me Noah," Dawn said as she cocked her gun. "Or I will kill her."

I watched as she placed her gun against Elizabeth's head.
