"Elizabeth, can you hand me that?" Beth asked, rocking little Judith in her arms. I quickly looked up at her with a smile. I grabbed the rattle that she was pointing to and handed it to her, smiling at Judith. Judith looked at me with round eyes and gave me a toothless grin. Her smiling at me was enough to keep me going.
"When do you think Maggie and Glenn will be back?" Beth asked with sorrow in her voice. I didn't know how to answer that question. A strange woman had arrived at the prison with a basket of formula. The formula that Glenn and Maggie were supposed to bring but never did. I could hear her in the distance discussing things with Rick and the others, but I couldn't hear what they were saying.

"I'm sure that they will be back real soon," I replied with a smile. Beth handed me Judith as she plopped down on the bed and stared up at the ceiling. I smiled at Judith as she began pulling on one of my necklaces with a few giggles. I smiled at her and began waving the rattle in her face, causing her to smile and attempt to snatch it. Her motor skills weren't helping her out in that department.

After a few moments, Beth's eyes fluttered shut. I knew that she must've been exhausted with everything she had been doing for Judith. It was me and her taking care of her. Rick had gone off of the deep end a little bit, so we had to step up. Judith began cooing. I decided to exit the cell and let Beth have her nap time. I went into the area where her formula was to make her a bottle. She hadn't eaten in a while and I knew that she would get cranky soon.

When I walked in, all of the new strangers began gazing at me. "I don't want to bother you guys. I need to get her some milk," I said apologetically. A dark woman with round eyes smiled at me and shook her head, "you aren't bothering any of us. Go ahead."

I smiled for a moment before heading to the counter to mix up some formula. When I grabbed the bottom, Judith began pulling on my ponytail and cooing. She had a strong grip, but I let her go at it.
"Are you the mother? You look so young," the woman said as she gazed over at me. I tried not to think of Lori as I began mixing up some formula. "No. The mother..she uh..."

I didn't have to say anything else for the woman to understand what I meant. She shook her head and began apologizing, "I'm sorry. That is awful."
"It is awful," I replied as I began shaking the bottle up and keeping Judith from eating my hair. My entire shoulder was covered in her drool. She giggled as I pulled the hair away and continued grabbing handfuls of it.
"I'm Sasha," the woman began. "This is my brother Tyreese."

I looked over at a very strong man who was smiling at me. "I'm Elizabeth. And this," I pulled my hair away from Judith once more, "is Judith."

Sasha smiled at the sight of a young baby, "Well hello Judith. You are a very pretty little girl." I smiled at Sasha and switched Judith to my other hip, away from my ponytail. "Well you wont be very pretty with hair in your mouth." Sasha laughed as Judith pouted, reaching for my ponytail again. She changed her mind when I popped the bottle in her mouth. We all watched as she drank gratefully.

My eyes moved to the entrance of the room when I heard heavy footsteps pacing towards me. It was of course Daryl. When I saw him, my eyes lit up and I smiled at the sight of him walking towards me.
"I need to talk to you," he mumbled, looking down at Judith. Sasha and Tyreese both looked away, giving us a private moment. "What's wrong?" I asked, rocking Judith in my arms back and forth.

"I don't need you freakin' out when I tell you neither," Daryl growled. Even when he wanted to be nice, he still sounded mean. That was just Daryl. "Then I wont," I growled back, looking to make sure the others were still chatting amongst themselves.
"Maggie and Glenn were taken by some..people. We're gonna get them back. But we need to go tonight," Daryl said, looking at Judith again. "And you ain't comin'"

I wanted to protest against this, but I knew I wouldn't win this argument. I trusted Daryl more than anybody to get my sister back. For once, I was going to let him go. "Okay," I replied, nodding my head.
"Okay? You ain't gonna argue?" Daryl asked in a shocked tone. I smiled at him as I switched Judith to my other arm since it was falling asleep. "I trust you to get my sister back and not get your ass shot. I wanna go, but I have to stay here with Beth and Judith."

"And I ain't gonna let you down," Daryl replied as he put his hand on my hip. He leaned forward and planted a long kiss on my lips, giving me butterflies. I was praying that my dad wasn't watching. He would shoot Daryl himself.

When Daryl pulled away, he simply nodded and walked out of the room. I broke my gaze away from him and looked back at Sasha. She was staring at me with a large smile painted on her face. "Now that is a man right there."

I blushed and pushed a piece of hair behind my ear, ignoring her comment. It was weird kissing in front of other people. Daryl and I were always on the downlow, so why did he kiss me with people present? I ignored them as my mind went to Maggie. I couldn't bare losing her and I prayed that she was okay. She was one person that I could not lose.
