I began breathing hard as I kept my gun level with his head. He didn't seem surprised to see me. He had been following me this entire time. They knew exactly where I was. I thought that entire thing was just a bad dream, but it wasn't. This was real and so was he.
I wanted to kill him. I wanted to end all of this right there, but I knew I couldn't. Killing him would be killing the rest of my people. Negan would come for me without a second thought.

"Elizabeth," Rick shouted. It seemed like he was getting farther away. I need to go if I was going to make it back to them. Dwight stared into my gun. It was as if he was waiting for me to blow his head off. But he didn't deserve that kindness.
"Duck," I said without emotion.

He was confused, but he ducked without question. I put a bullet in the skull of the walker behind him before taking off in the opposite direction. I spun around to face him for a moment. I was still backing away towards my people, but I had to warn him. I was too nice for my own good.
"Run," I said as I motioned behind him. "If they see you, they will kill you. And if I ever see you again, I'm going to blow your head off."

Dwight grinned at my words. He wasn't phased by anything I was saying. "You wont get a chance like this again. I suggest you take it."

I looked at him one last time before running in the direction I came. It was stupid of me to let him live, but I wasn't going to waste a bullet on him. I could've ended a lot of stuff if I would've just killed him.

"Rick!" I screamed as I continued running. I could hear them shouting for Glenn in the distance. What about me? Did they forget about me?

I could see a light in the distance. I wasn't sure what it was, but I knew it had to be them. Dwight was way behind me by now. It couldn't have been him.
"Michonne!" I shouted as I got closer to the mysterious light.

"Elizabeth!" She shouted back. I knew I was getting much closer. I saw that it was a walker with a flare in it's skull when I arrived. Dozens of walkers were coming towards Rick and Michonne. I didn't see Glenn or Aaron anywhere in sight. Fear washed over me. What would Maggie do without him?
"Where did Glen--"
I was cut off by gunfire in front of us. I covered my face to avoid getting taken out. I didn't know who it was. It could've been Dwight getting ready to kill us. It could've been Aaron trying to ambush us. It could've been anyone.
I uncovered my face to see Aaron and Glenn standing behind the dead walkers. I let out a sigh of relief as I saw him. I was so incredibly thankful that we had all made it out alive.

It was a rare thing to get separated and not lose anybody. Aaron slowly put his hands up as we all looked at him. "If you really wanna tie me up again, that's fine, but hurry up."

Aaron tossed his weapon on the ground before putting his hands up again. Rick grabbed the weapon off of the ground before nodding to Aaron. "There's no time. We're going that way."

Rick pointed behind us with his gun and we all rushed behind him. I could see a road in the distance, so I knew we were getting somewhere. It may not have been where we wanted to go, but it was somewhere. I followed them to the road and we all spread out. I didn't see the others anywhere. I didn't see anything anywhere.
"Where are they?" Rick huffed at Aaron.

"I don't know," Aaron forced out. Aaron looked to either end of the road but found nothing.
"If this is a trap to get us back where you want us, your people are going to die tonight," Rick replied. He was right. I didn't have a problem taking a few people out. I just hoped this wasn't a trap for his sake. We continued down the road and my eyes drifted to a sign. Route 16. We weren't going the way that we had planned.

"The flare was towards the water tower," Rick noted. We all nodded and continued behind him.
I was scared, but I toughed it out.

I just hoped we would find the others alive.
