"At sundown we fire a shot into the air," Rick began as he continued drawing in the dirt. "Get two of them out on patrol. Then once it's dark enough that the rooftop spotter wont see us, we go. We cut the locks on one of the stairways, take it to the fifth floor."
Rick looked up at Tyreese for a moment before he continued drawing his diagram of the hospital. "I open the door, Daryl takes the guard out."

"How?" Tyreese asked as his expression remained the same.
"He slits his throat," Rick replied without a care in the world. I glanced at Daryl for a split second to find he didn't have a care in the world either.

"This is all about us doing this quiet, keeping the upper hand," Rick said as he looked around at all of us. "They're not expecting us. From there, we fan out. Knives and silenced weapons. We need to be fast."

Rick picked up his stick once more and drew three X's in one of the rooms. "Sasha, Tyreese, take them." Rick drew another X in another room. "Daryl, you take care of whoever is in the kitchen." Rick continued making marks on his layout of the hospital. "I got Dawn."

"If they're smart, the rest of them will give up. Then it'll be five on three," Rick continued as he looked down at what he made. "Six on three once we get a weapon to Beth."

"12 on three," Noah said. "The wards will help."

"That's best case. What's worst case?" Tyreese asked as he looked over at Noah. "All it takes is one of those cops going down the hall at the wrong time. Then it's not quiet. All hands on deck. We're talking about a lot of bullets flying around."

"If that's what it takes," I replied as I looked down at Rick.
"It's not," Tyreese said in disagreement. "If we get a couple of her cops alive out here, we do an even trade. Theirs for ours. Everybody goes home. "

"Yeah, I get it," Rick said as he pushed himself off of the floor. "And it might work. This will work," he said as he made eye contact with Tyreese. They stared at each other for a few moments before Daryl interrupted them.
"Nah, that'll work, too."

Rick slowly turned around and moved his gaze to Daryl. He seemed surprised by his words, but he was willing to listen. "You say this Dawn, she's just trying to keep it together, right?" Daryl asked as he motioned to Noah.

"Trying and doing are two different things," Noah replied.

"You take two of her cops away, what choices does she have?" Daryl asked as he looked over at Rick once more. "Everybody goes home. Like he says."

"Okay," Rick said after a moment.

We all stared at each other for a few moments before Rick left the room followed by Tyreese and Noah. I slowly looked over at Daryl to see him staring into space, chewing on his bottom lip. I knew he was pretty messed up since Elizabeth, but I didn't want to pressure him to talk about it. I knew he would speak of everything when he was ready.

"Hands," Rick growled as we approached the two officers, guns raised. I watched their expressions turn into sheer terror as they realized they had been set up. My eyes moved to Noah for a split second before I brought my gaze back to the officers.
"What do you want?" The female demanded as she made eye contact with Rick.

"Whatever this is, we can help," the other said as he kept his gun level with Rick.

"You do what we say, we don't hurt you."

"Okay," the man spoke as he held his gun out. The female hesitated for a moment before doing the same.

"Good. Now turn around," Rick said as he began walking closer to them. "Put your guns on the floor and kneel."

They both slowly began sinking to the floor as they put their guns next to them. Sasha and I picked up the guns quickly as we all kept our eyes on them.

"We need to talk," Rick said as he looked down at them. I felt that they had a plan, but I didn't want to assume the worst. Sasha slowly handed me a zip tie and we began binding their arms behind them. We couldn't take chances anymore.

"There's water if you need some and food," Rick spoke as he watched us tie them up. We pulled them up after a moment, ready to get everything started.

"Mind if I ask you something?" the male officer asked as I pulled him up. My eyes moved to Sasha as I watched her stare at something on the ground with confusion. She motioned for Tyreese to hold the female after a moment.

"Daryl," she said as she looked over at me. I hesitated for a moment before handing the male off to Rick. I was curious about what she was seeing, but I never expected what happened next.

I slowly followed her a few feet away and she nodded her head to the ground.

My breathing increased as I saw what she was motioning to.

My name was spelled in blood on the concrete.
"Do you believe in ghosts?" Sasha breathed out as she tried to hold back her fear.

Our eyes met for a moment before we both looked back at the ground in complete shock. The first thing that popped into my mind was Elizabeth.

"I don't think Elizabeth was taken," Sasha mumbled as she continued staring down.

"What?" I asked as I looked over at her.

Sasha continued staring down at the ground before she returned her gaze back to me. Her eyes were full of confusion as she spoke.

"I think she ran."
