Chapter 2

Perth slumped tired on his bed not caring to take a bath nor change his clothes. These past few days he had always been exhausted, however today Perth felt depleted. Other nights, Perth would usually still have time and energy to go to clubs and party with his fake friends. Yet today.... Perth was totally drained and sick. His stomach and throat burns as if he was about to suffer an acid reflux.

Then his thoughts brought him back to someone....

He was on his way out towards the exit of the arena from his dressing room when he saw him through a slightly opened door of one of the dressing rooms provided for performers like them. He was still on his red body suit which fits and hugs his body so well Perth could actually see all his curves. However the boy doesn't look as glowing and happy like how he saw him a while ago when he was performing. He looked devastated as he kept hugging his skates as if he was holding it for his dear life while mumbling something that Perth couldn't figure exactly out.

The usual Perth wouldn't really care. He would only roll his eyes and walk away without getting involve with anything or anyone. However that night Perth did something he wasn't supposed to do. Maybe it was because that certain figure skater guy looked really weak and vulnerable. Or maybe curiosity just got the best of him?

He gently pushed the door open, creating creaking sound making the boy looked up in horror to where he was slumped down like a defeated kid. He instantly wiped off his tears away, shaking his head repeatedly as if wanting to explain what was really going on but couldn't.

Perth, although already accustomed to seeing beautiful people around the entertainment industry was taken aback by what he saw. The skater boy looked different when you actually see his face up close.

Although his eyes were red from the obvious crying it still shown Perth his beautiful light brown orbs. Like someone with a foreign descent. His hair wash gelled and pulled back allowing him to see his smooth skin. His makeup although heavy still didn't hide that red cheeks and lips and gorgeously lined jaw.

He looked like a fallen angel, white, slim, and innocent looking. Stripped from his wings and had fallen in to earth.

"Umm sorry... I think I... got in a wrong dressing room" Perth gulped, stepping back as he took a glance on the paper plastered in front of the door with "SAINT SUPPAPONG" written on it "Sorry I didn't saw it" he nervously chuckled a bit cursing himself for even coming up with such a stupid alibi.

Perth looked around, not exactly knowing what to do. For the first time in many years he felt shameful for being get caught like this that he can't quite look at the beautiful man on the floor. Right in the corner of his eyes Perth saw him giggle.

"Oh it's ok" The guy named Saint timidly smile. Still hugging the skates against his chest. "I in fact once accidentally went in to Kim Yu Na's dressing room and after that we became friends" He beamed at him making Perth stared back in confusion.

"Wasn't he bawling his eyes out moments ago?" Perth was amazed at how his mood drastically change from sulking into one beaming and giggling boy. But he wasn't supposed to care right? So he just nodded.

"Ok. I'm going. Sorry again" he replied and decided to just leave. As he took quick steps away from him he can't help but to think of the reasons why the boy had to cry like he was going to lose his favorite toy.

"It's not like he's gonna lose his skates and can't buy a new one right?"

Perth heave a deep breath and shook his head.

He can't possible be thinking of that person right now. His eyebrow clashes as he remembered. That boy was too weak and vulnerable and Perth hated how he reminds him of Perth five years ago. Too trusting and frail.

"But seriously? Why is he crying like his skates just died?" Again, he shook his head really hating on how his thoughts kept bringing that Saint Suppapong back. He shifted on his bed and pulled the cover up to his chest... he slowly closed his eyes and mumbled something.

"There will be no chance of me seeing you again. Why should I even care now?"

He gently scooted at the leather couch in his boss's office pretending that he was listening to his boss's lecture about how he acted at the figure skaters concert. Perth couldn't help but chuckle as he mentally kept repeating his boss's words inside his head. Yes, he knew exactly what his boss was about to say... it sounded like a broken record.

Every time he did something wrong, his boss will nag and lecture him with the exact same words he is using at him now. Perth rolled his eyes in annoyance after he got tired just listening and playing with his boss in his mind. His boss will eventually let him go and send him to do another job anyway. What's new?

Unknown to him. That day will be different.

"Perth why don't you go for a vacation today? Stay as long as you want... I've prearranged you a vacation to Maldives" his boss gently told him. Sliding a bundle of papers containing a round trip ticket to Maldives and some cash.

Feeling rather insulted, the young star couldn't help but to feel agitated.

"So now you're dumping me off to an island? What is this? Payment for everything I have done for you? Have you gotten so much money from me already that you finally had enough and doesn't need me anymore?" he scowled sarcastically making his boss step back a bit.

"It's not like that kid"

"THEN WHY?" his temper rose.

"First. I am not like your previous agency Perth. Whether you believe it or not." His boss stared at the kid who he knew has all the potentials to reach the top. "Look you've been working so hard these past year and honestly? You gave the company so much that I needed to at least make sure that you are okay. You've changed Perth"

The young star closed his eyes. He was trying to find the logic behind his boss sudden "CARE" towards him.

"You aren't the same Perth I met years ago. You were once full of life. You once enjoyed singing and performing. ONCE Perth. That is why I wanted you here. But now you're turning into this typical star who is just waiting for him to lose his shine and believe me, soon you will if you will not learn how to use your talents well. I know you have baggages in the past Perth. I know what they did to you. And I don't want you to end like those instant celebrity and a forgotten star after a few years"

-----

Perth squinted his eyes as he stepped out of his service vehicle. He was wearing his sunglasses but the sun was so bright that he instantly felt irritated by it. He hasn't been out of the sun for such a long time, and feeling it hitting his face makes him already hating the so-called "vacation" that was given to him

He went directly to his cottage and decided to just rest for the rest of the day. They want him to rest?

Then Rest is what he'll would do.
