ELIZABETHS POVEverything was...dark...but..not dark?
I feel like I could see in this pitch black darkness.I didn't understand why I felt like.. I could just sense or feel what was around me...I knew my eyes were closed. I wasn't stupid..last thing I remember.. they were stopping my heart? Oh my god am I dead!?
I forced my eyes open and gasped. I wasn't in the same infirmary room...I was in... a meadow? What?
What the hell was going on... I squinted in the sunlight. God it was so bright. It made my head reel."Elizabeth" suddenly there was a woman next to me, but I didn't feel afraid. She had a glowing essence to her. Her golden skin shone in the sunlight. She was wearing a long white dress with a cloak.
"What's going on? Who are you?" My voice sounded so weak.
"I'm Yvette. The Sun Goddess." She smiled at me warmly and my eyes widened. The Sun Goddess!?
"The..." I trailed off and she walked up next to me.
"Come. We've a lot to talk about."

My eyes opened, finally. I stared at the ceiling, collecting my thoughts. I was back in the infirmary room.
Thinking back on what just happened...
The Sun Goddess, the one who oversees vampires, telling ME I was a supernatural being with magic in my blood!? It felt like a fever dream... but I felt it... I trusted it.I sat up slowly, feeling no pain. Yet feeling everything. I was so cold.. the lights were so bright...
"Elizabeth" the nurse next to me breathed a sigh of relief. I squinted at her, nodding slowly.
"I'm awake" I whispered, rubbing my hands together. I felt so cold? Did all vampires feel cold? Did it work?
"It worked" she whispered, a huge smile forming on her face.
"What do you feel?" She pulled out a tablet, ready to write.
"I feel.. everything. Absolutely everything. I feel so cloudy though... hungry. I'm so hungry" I whispered. My mind was racing. Everything was loud. It was too loud. I suddenly felt panic and the heart monitor began racing. God it was blaring in my ears.
"Calm down. It's okay. I know this all feels overwhelming. Just focus on your breathing. Focus on the sound of your own heartbeat. Close your eyes. Even though everything in here is normal, it's all heightened for you. It will stay that way for awhile... you just have to adjust to your sense being so extended." I did as she said and closed my eyes, trying to focus. It was so hard. I could hear every part in the medical machine moving. I felt like I could even hear water moving through the pipes in the walls. I put my hands over my ears and focused on myself.
This took a few minutes for me to calm down and catch myself. When I opened my eyes the nurse had a glass in her hand, holding it out to me.
"What is that?" I whispered, too afraid to be overwhelmed by my own voice.
"It's blood." She smiles at me politely and I thought back to what the Sun Goddess had said.
"It has to be-"
"It's Graysons" she cut me off and I nodded slowly, my heart sinking. Grayson... I wondered how angry he was with me right now...
The Sun Goddess told me not to be mad at everyone in my life who knew what I was... I was pretty irritated to say the least. I understood they just wanted to protect me.
