ELIZABETHS POV

One month later

I wiped my eyes from laughing so hard I literally cried, Jewel was doing the same.
We were sitting in Grayson and I's room, talking and watching tv.

Since Grayson and Xavier were busy working all of the time, I requested we get a tv in here. Well, more like I demanded it. They wouldn't let us help with anything and we got bored sometimes.

"Okay so do you still get your period then?" She looked at me with anticipation. She was asking me all kinds of questions about being a vampire. What blood tastes like, how it feels to sense someone being near, etc. My eyebrows furrowed together.

"Yes, since vampires could still have kids we gotta get our periods, right?" I thought hard about this..

"You sound like you're asking me now. It's been over a month?" She tilted her head and I shrugged. I hadn't gotten mine since I turned. In fact.. It couldn't have been THAT long ago...

"Maybe they don't get it as frequently. Since they live so long." I nodded to myself as I said this, hoping that was the case.

She shrugged, taking a bite out of a twizzler.

"Lucky you then! Thank God you can't tell when a human is on theirs." She spoke with relief, and fake shuddered as I laughed hard again.

"Yeah, really. Being around humans in general I don't feel that kinda blood lust that the others do. Gloria said it's because the magic in me keeps me kinda human? In a way? I don't know, she didn't make much sense. I can eat human food and be fine, unlike the others." I smiled to myself, remembering how awful it felt when Grayson said my body would reject it. I love food.

"Do you still get the urges around Grayson?" Her tone got serious and I sighed.

"Sometimes, not as bad though. I keep up with myself so I don't worry." I smiled at her and she nodded, looking relieved.

"I love you guys. I hate the strain it's put on you. At least Gloria took away your Grayson ban." She winked and my cheeks heated up slightly.

"Yeah yeah yeah, but what about you and-" I motioned like I was putting a crown on my head. She frowned slightly, shrugging.

"Sometimes I think he feels things for me, but it always goes away" She spoke sadly. She had really come to have feelings for Xavier. It sucked that there was no way to find out if he returned those feelings. Of all the people to fall for, the vampire prince. I told her I'd get some info from Grayson later.

The door opened and Grayson walked in, Elizabeth and I instantly boo'd him.

"Chill out, jeez" he shot us a playful glare as he walked to the small desk they had moved in here.

"You're interrupting!" Jewel shouted as she threw twizzlers at him. He caught one and stared at it.

"This is good food to you?" He spoke with disgust and I giggled as Jewel glared at him. I loved that Xavier let her act freely with us and himself. He really did respect and care about her.. or was just around others when they played the stupid role.

"Twizzlers are a delicacy." She bit one fiercely and I laughed. I wouldn't go so far as to call them a delicacy, but she really loved them.

"Is Hannah with Olivia?" I looked at Grayson over my shoulder and he nodded. They extended their stay, they didn't think it was safe to go home. Tyler was still searching for us. He kept going back to Stacey and the group we had left behind. He was threatening a lot of people.

"I'll meet you outside then." Jewel got up, wiggling her eyebrows at me secretly I rolled my eyes. As soon as the door shut Grayson was at my side, kissing my cheek.
