I looked at Grayson and tried to hide my jealousy as this girl held onto him tightly, her shoulders were shaking with sobs.
Tyler wrapped his arms around me and sighed happily
"Mates reunited. How beautiful" he held a smirk on his face that told me there was more to this.
He was hiding something.
Lily finally detached herself from Grayson and he stared at her blankly.
"Come Grayson we have so much to talk about. Let's go up to your room" she grabbed his hand and I had to stop myself from running over there. She began walking towards the stairs but stopped abruptly when he didn't move.
He stayed put, as if cemented to the ground. She gave him a confused look, pouting.
"Grayson? come on!" she tugged on his arm but he shook his head again, pulling his hand back he took a few steps away from her.
"What are you doing her?" he all but growled at her and she scoffed.
"I need an excuse to see my mate?"
My stomach lurched at her words.
She was his mate.
His soulmate.
"Lily you rejected me" he sounded irritated and confused.
She crossed her arms and looked away.
"Grayson leave the past where it is"
She had a bitchy tone about her and he glared.
"No! you rejected me! you went and got married, lily, married! what makes you think I want anything to do with you? you left me in a heartbeat for that guy that was rich. I don't want you" he spoke with a sense of finality and she stared at him in disbelief.
"Oh come on Grayson we're soul mates. Let's go talk babe."
I had to suppress myself from going over there and tearing them apart.
He shook his head yet again.
Tyler voice broke my concentration
"Liz why don't we give them some privacy?" he grabbed my hand and began to pull me towards the front door but I stopped, staring at Grayson desperately.
He moved past lily and opened his mouth to speak but Lily cut him off
"Her!?" she shrieked and Tyler's head snapped to me.
Lily scoffed, tossing her hair back.
"Honestly Grayson you can't like a human."
She sounded disgusted. Tyler grabbed my hand firmly
"Elizabeth" he spoke harshly and glared furiously at Grayson, who backed down. He spoke slowly.
"No" he whispered.
"No I'm sorry. I don't like her" he grabbed Lily's hand, not once breaking eye contact with tyler.
"You're right we do have much to discuss. Let's go upstairs darling" he whispered and my mouth dropped open. As lily walked passed me she whispered harshly
"Dear you may want to shut your mouth, don't want flies going inside"
I clenched my fist in anger.
How DARE her! and how dare Grayson go off with HER!
