c: stay amazing!
"She's the alphas mate? wow" I rolled my eyes as girls talked about me, disgust in their voices. "She won't amount up to much" the blonde added in, looking me over. I ignored them and kept walking. I was at this mansion, and I suppose it's where most of the pack lives. well, the important people I mean. I was waiting for Chase, he brought me here earlier but then left. I've been criticized all day.
"So you're the alphas mate?" a voice broke my thoughts, a girl my age stood across from me.
I looked up at her and she smiled
"You're pretty" she spoke sincerely and I smiled back at her. She was the only one that has been nice to me all day.. I had to be cautious.
"Thank you" I muttered, fiddling with my hands. "Would you like a tour?" she motioned towards a hallway and I shook my head.
"Chase told me to stay here. So I am"
She looked at me like I was crazy.
"You're obeying him?" she raised and eyebrow at me and I nodded.
"I've never heard of a human easily obeying a werewolf, even a alpha. There's no connection. You shouldn't feel obliged to obey him"
I shrugged
"Maybe it's because he's your mate?" she suggested and I nodded "that must be it" I muttered, hating the hold he had over me.
"My name is Elizabeth, by the way" I added in and she smiled at me "I'm jessie" I returned an awkward smile.
"And that's the whole house" she said with a sigh and I nodded. The lengthy tour was over. We made our way back to the lobby.
Chase was standing there, glaring.
"Where were you" he growled at me and I flinched.
Jessie immediately walked off, mouthing an apology.
Chase grabbed my arm and I stopped, looking over his shoulder.
"Who is that?" I questioned and he suddenly looked irritated, letting out a small growl
"What is he doing here.." He mumbled to himself as the man walked over. He had silver hair, he was tall and had a charming smile. His bright green eyes stood out against his pale skin.
"Hello Alpha Chase" he grinned at Chase, I could see his fangs. A vampire?
"What do you need Tyler" Chase spoke back irritably and 'tyler' shrugged. "Just stopped by to see how everyone is doing." He mused. This man seemed incredibly charming and maybe in his mid 30s.
He looked at me, eyeing me carefully.
"A human?" he rose an eyebrow, anger hinted in his eyes.
"Have you exposed us?" he spoke accusingly and Chase growled
"She's my mate"
Tyler's eyes widened in interest. "How interesting. I hope this plays out for you well" he smiled at me and I nodded, in awe.
I'd never seen a vampire before.
"I'm going to fight a werewolf to see if I'm accepted" I spoke out of nowhere, I practically took myself by surprise. Chases eyes widened and he glared furiously.
Oops, I guess it was a secret.
Tyler gently grabbed my hand, lifting it up to his lips he planted a cold kiss down gently.
