-----11 years after the end of season 3-----
Yam bursted through the front door of her and Ramiro's house like a hurricane. The door slammed shut so noisily that Ramiro could tell only by hearing it that Yam was really angry.
"Hi, angel. How are you feeling?" He asked carefully and gently. Yam turned on her heel and snapped at him. "Don't call me that, Ramiro!" He blinked surprisedly and asked. "What was that for? Did I do something wrong?"
Yam pointed at the kitchen cupboard which was full of dirty dishes and started screaming. "Yes, you did! Don't you see that mess?! I am not your slave to clean it up after you! And yesterday you left your car right in front of mine that I couldn't get out of the house! Your socks are lying literally everywhere and you do nothing to clean it!" Ramiro shook his head in complete shock and disbelief at her sudden outburst. "Yam, let me explain. I was actually going to wash the dishes in the moment when you came."
Yam started laughing hysterically. "Oh, really? I'm so sorry that I interrupted you in your actions. The funny thing is that I can't see you doing something." Her gaze fell to her mobile that beeped in her pocket.
Yam opened it and stared at the photo in disbelief, shock, dissapointment, anger and lots of other emotions that she couldn't name in that moment. There was a picture of Ramiro in some bar with a beautiful red-haired model. Under the photo was already a discussion of Yam's fans that were angry of Ramiro's action.
A sob escaped out of Yam's mouth. "That can't be possible." She whispered to herself. Then it finally clicked in her head and she started screaming at the top of her lungs. "How could you Ramiro?! Why did you do that? How long? I thought that you love me, but of course I was wrong. YOU ARE SUCH A CHEATER! WE WERE SO HAPPY TOGETHER, WE'RE MARRIED, YOU REMEMBER?" At the end she was crying. Ramiro asked confusedly. "What are you talking about, Yam?"
Yam sobbed. "Don't play innocent." She showed him the photo. Ramiro went pale in the face. Yam whispered. "So it's true." Ramiro raised his voice. "No, it isn't! The girl asked me to go out with her and I told her that I am married and that I love you. I was in the bar with the boys and I was there on an important meeting with one producer that can help a lot to Roller team!"
Yam retorted poisonously. "Of course. How many excuses will you make to make me trust you again?! Go to your long-legged model. You want to be free, so don't bother with me." Ramiro sighed angrily. "Yam, I would NEVER cheat on you, I'm not your horrible ex-boyfried Dario." Yam sobbed. "No, you're right. You wouldn't do that to me, because you already did that."
Ramiro threw his arms up in the air in the sign of giving up. "Why am I even trying to explain, when you don't trust me. You never did. I thought that you know me. I gave you all my heart, all my love, even my faithfullness, youth and 13 years of my life and still it's not enough to make you trust me." He finished, completely heartbroken and left the room. When the door to their shared bedroom closed, two tears escaped out of his eyes. He let them fall. Ramiro has never felt so bad in his whole life. The worst thing for him was the fact that Yam believed the paparazzi instead of him, loving and loyal husband of five years, best friend and boyfriend of almost 14 years, a guiltless man that loved her with all his heart.
Yam felt guilty for yelling at him, but the photo seemed so real that she was almost sure that Ramiro cheated on her and now denies it. She started crying.
Yam took her phone out and called Jim. She answered immediately. "Hi, Yam! What's up?" Jim was scared to death when she heard her bestfriend crying on the other side of the phone. "Yam! What happened to you? Shall I go to your place?" She asked at the edge of panicking. Yam said. "No, don't go there. We had a terrible fight with Ramiro. He cheated on me and the newspaper is full of it." She sobbed.
Jim shouted. "What? No, Yam. It can't be possible, he loves you. He wouldn't do that to you. You know paparazzi, they photoshopped the photo, that's it." Yam sighed. "How can you believe him instead of me?!" Jim tried to calm her down. "Of course that I trust you."
Yam talked on the phone with Jim almost half an hour. Yam sobbed. "Do you know, what's the worst part of it? I love him and I was so happy with him. I wanted to have a baby with him soon and now I find about this. Where can I find someone who would deserve my love? And I'll be turning 30 in four months time, a new man, who would like to have kids with me soon is hard to find these days..." She was interrrupted by Ramiro's voice right behind her. His voice was full of emotions when he asked. "What? I am hearing right? You want a baby with me?"
Yam had quickly quit the phone call. "It doesn't matter now, when I know the truth." A few tears fell out of her eyes. Ramiro wrapped his arms around her softly and said. "It does matter and you know that. I love you Yam, I really do. I would never do anything that could make you suffer. I can't see you crying because of me. You have to understand me. None of the women matter to me, because I have you. You are the best thing that has ever been mine. And I want to stand by your side forever. The paparazzi are just trying to separate us and that won't happen as long as we love each other. I didn't know that they took a photo of me and that model. But nothing happened between us. Do you trust me?" He finished with a hope in his voice.
Yam smiled weakly. "Yes, I trust you. But I need something from you." Ramiro raised his eyebrows with a slight smile on his lips. "What should I do?" Yam stated with sparkling eyes. "Prove me your love." Ramiro smiled. "How?"
Yam looked into his eyes pleadingly. He could say that she truly wanted it. "Get me pregnant. Please. I really want a baby with you. Or if you're not ready, I can wait." Ramiro shook his head with a smile. "I would love to have a baby with you. And it's no big deal for me to knock you up with my baby." He winked at her. Yam laughed. Then, he crashed his lips onto hers.
--Six weeks later--
Yam and Ramiro were watching TV together. Yam felt so tired, so her head was lying in Ramiro's lap on the couch. There was a funny scene in the movie, when Yam suddenly started crying. Ramiro noticed it and asked caringly. "Yam, why are you crying, angel?" Yam replied in between of her sobs. "It's so melting." Ramiro carressed her cheek. "You are so emotional lately." He stated. Yam nodded.
"I'm always emotional when I'm expecting my period." She replied. Ramiro thought about it for a while. "But you are like that usually only one day and then you get it. But now you're acting and feeling fatigue five days."
Then it clicked in Yam's head. She quickly sat up. "What's happening?" Ramiro asked. Yam headed to the bathroom and called. "I'll be right back."
She looked at her period calender. She was right. The period was late three days and Yam had always had steady cycle. All excited, Yam reached for the pregnancy test. She remembered that dissapointment that she was feeling last time (and first time all in one) when she took the test.
Yam read the instructions and did as she was told. She was waiting impatiently for the results. Finally, the two minutes were gone. She held her breath and looked at the test.
When she saw the results, she screamed happily. "Yes!" She has always dreamed of different way of telling Ramiro the news, but she was so excited that she had to tell him straightway.
Yam squealed. "Look at the test, Rami! Can you see it?" Ramiro grabbed the test and looked at it. His eyes started filling with tears. "I can't believe it! We're starting a family!" He spun Yam around. "We've achieved it! And on the second try, I can't believe how good I am." He exclaimed. When he saw Yam's look and smile, he corrected himself. "I mean, how good we are."
Yam nodded. "Thank you, Ramiro. I love you." He smiled and kissed her softy. "I love you too."
