-----10 years and 10 months after the end of season 3-----

Simón woke up to the dark bedroom that he shared with Ámbar and noticed that it was still very late in the night. Or early in the morning? He couldn't tell. But before he could glance over at the clock, he heard a terrible noise. Worry came over him immediately.

He called softly. "Ámbar! Are you okay?" He heard only a grown from her. "Where are you, darling?" He asked. "I'm lying on the floor." That was enough for Simón to get up. He hated getting up early, but the fact that his pregnant wife was lying on the floor scared him off.

Simón switched the light on and quickly ran to Ámbar. He asked at the edge of panicking. "How did it happen that you fell onto the floor? Did you fell off the bed?" Ámbar sighed. "No, I think that I'm going to throw up in any second. My head had spun and I fell."

Simón said. "Let me help you..." he started and took her to his arms, but in that moment Ámbar warned him. "Simón..." She couldn't finish her sentence, because in that moment everything that she ate for dinner that day spilled on Simón's t-shirt.

Simón didn't mind that, he just lifted still vomitting Ámbar and ran with her to the bathroom quickly. He positioned her head to the toilet and held her from behind. He was whispering to her the whole time words of reassurance, but he was well aware that she couldn't concentrate on what he was saying.

Let's be honest, Ámbar's morning sickness was terrible. First of all, the sickness came in any time of the day and not only in the morning. Ámbar didn't go to work at least one week now and was very angry about it, because she was hardly ever ill before. She had also terrible headaches and with each day her appetite was getting worse. Simón was very worried about her and almost every day stayed with her at home in case that she needed something.

After thirty minutes Ámbar finally assumed that she was feeling better. She brushed her teeth quickly and muttered to herself, but still loud enough for Simón to hear her. "This is the worst time of my life!"

Simón sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. "Ámbar, I'm very sorry that you have to go through this. But you can't blame our baby that he or she can't sleep at night. Plus, it means that the baby is developing like it should." He smiled, but his smile faded when Ámbar looked at him angrily.

"Seriously, Simón? I'm going through the worst time of my life and you're happy about it? I know what you want to say, so save it. If this morning sickness lasts through my whole pregnancy, this child will be our first and only, do you get it? I feel like I'm dying."

Simón knew that he shouldn't disagree with her, so he said. "I'm sure that it will be over soon. But of course, if you don't want another children, I respect you, because I'm not the one who has to go through all of this." Ámbar smiled. "Thank you."

She tried to stand up, but her knees were too weak for that. Simón just laughed and took her into his arms and carried her to bed.

Ámbar then finally fell asleep again, but two hours later she woke up, feeling terribly sick again. She tried to not wake up Simón again, while she was running for her life to the bathroom. For the next two hours were Ámbar and the bathroon inseparable.

When Simón woke up in the morning, he searched through the sheets for Ámbar, but he couldn't find her. He felt terrible that his wife was suffering in the bathroom again and he couldn't do anything that could make her feel better.

So he knocked on the door and opened it. And then he just stared in shock.

Ámbar was lying on the ground with her head rested on the pillow on the bathtub and was wrapped in the duvet like a butterfly in its cocon. She opened her eyes and mumbled. "Good morning, Simón."

Simón knelt beside her and whispered. "Good morning, Ámbar. Why are you lying here? Did you spend the night there?" Ámbar just nodded. "I stayed there in case that the baby would love to see again how quickly can I get to the bathroom without waking you up."

Simón laughed a little, but then got more serious. "I'm starting to be worried about you, love. The morning sickness is terrible, you should get checked." But Ámbar just shook her head. "Nobody can make that dissapear, Simón. Some women have stronger morning sickness than the others. And to my eternal displeasure I am one of them, my doctor has told me."

Simón then stated understandingly. "Okay, so let's eat something for breakfast." Ámbar lifted her eyebrows. "Are you serious? I can't eat anything when I'm feeling like this." Simón helped her to stand up. "No, Ámbar. You have to eat, because the last time that you've eaten something was yesterday's breakfast. You and the baby need energy."

Ámbar protested. "It's just a waste of time, Simón, trust me. Every time that I eat something, it comes back right after I swallow it." Simón said. "Ámbar, honey, you need to eat, because if you don't eat, the baby and you will be hungry to death and ill as well." Ámbar sighed and nodded. Then she noticed Simón's triumphant smile. That made her smile too.

When they walked down the stairs to eat breakfast with the Valentes, Ámbar's grandfather and Sharon, Mónica stated worriedly. "Ámbar, you look very tired, are you alright?" Ámbar chuckled darkly. "Honestly? I feel terrible. Me and the bathroom were best friends once again this night." Simón couldn't help but smile, despite the situation. He loved Ámbar's dark humour, but when he saw her death glare, his smile quickly faded.

Sharon stated. "You should go to the doctor, my dear, it's the eight morning that you're not feeling well." Ámbar told her. "Don't worry, mama, I'm alright, just suffering from terrible morning sickness. I'm being punished for everything that I had done wrong in the past."

Alfredo frowned. "I have to apologize. I don't understand." Ámbar smiled and explained. "The thing is that me and Simón are expecting a baby together. Nine weeks to be exact. And our baby is very sporty and active, because he or she loves to wake me up no matter what time is it and loves running already, because we run to the batroom around eight times a night together. And also loves the bathroom as well, because that's my favourite room now."

Simón started laughing, because he couldn't handle it anymore. Mónica exclaimed happily. "Really? You're having a baby? That's wonderful news, congratulations!" Alfredo added. "Why didn't you tell us sooner? We have to celebrate it, I'll be a greatgranddad of three children! That's amazing!" He was very pleased, because Luna and Matteo had already two children.

Sharon said proudly. "Congratulations, Ámbar. You'll be a wonderful mother." Ámbar smiled and said. "And you're going to be a great grandmother." She smiled. "Thank you, my daughter. I'll do my best, but I can't promise you anything. And it's a shame that I'll never be able to see your kids."

Everyone was sad in that moment, but Alfredo solved the problem as always. "We have to be happy, a new life is coming! Let's make a toast!" Everyone laughed and cheered immediately.
