39. Gastina - Mommy's boy

Author's Note: Hi, everybody! Welcome to a brand new chapter about one of the cutest couples ever, by a chapter about Nina and Gastón :) It's one of the last chapters of this couple, so I hope you'll enjoy reading it :) Next week you can expect a Pelfi chapter. -----9 years and 3 months after the end of season 3-----

The sun was setting down in peace and two people were sitting on their terrace and watching the sunset. They were having fun by that.

Nina said quietly. "Gastón, can you see the colours that the sun projects over the landscape? It's beautiful, isn't it?" She looked at him with eager eyes.

Gastón had smiled and nodded. "Yes, it's magnificent. But why are you whispering, Nina?" He asked curioulsy. Nina smiled and replied. "I didn't want to ruin the atmosphere."

Gastón's quiet and very nice laugh cut through the silence of the beautiful evening. He said amorously.

"I have always imagined us like this. Sitting on the terrace, holding hands and watching the sunset. When I thought that I lost you forever, I regretted everything I was never going to see. For example, your features in faces of our children or this beautiful sight: you in the 9th month of pregnancy on the due date of our first son."

His eyes were full of love and tenderness that it caught Nina off guard. She smiled shyly. "Yeah, the same happened to me. I always wanted us to end like this, sitting here and looking into each other's eyes."

Gastón smiled and took her hand into his, then stated with an surprised but still happy smile. "You think this is a happy end for us? You can't be serious. This is only the beginning of our united life. Soon there will be three of us. And I hope that even more." He declared enthusiastically.

Nina smiled at him and rested her head on his arm. Then she said. "I would like to have more children than just one. Two would be perfect."

Gastón nodded satisfiedly. "I absolutely agree with you. You're amazing, Nina. I love you." He said tenderly. Nina smiled. "I love you too."

Gastón slowly eliminated the distance between them and kissed Nina on her lips gently. The whole world seemed like it stopped turning, just as when they shared their first kiss.

When they pulled away, Gastón put an arm around her shoulder and said. "We should go inside. It starts to get cold."

Nina nodded. "Let's go. Gastón, would you help me to..." She couldn't finish her sentence, but Gastón had understood immediately, smiled and finished the sentence. "To stand up? Of course, I would do it anyway."

He pullled her gently by one hand, his other arm was strongly supporting Nina while standing up.

She was almost standing, when suddenly, a sharp pain cut through her belly and Nina's knees got weak. She just gasped "Oh", when her knees undermined. Gastón had tightened his grip onto Nina's arm and the other arm he pressed firmly on her back.

His breath hitched in his throat, when he called out. "Nina, what's wrong? Is this a contraction?" He didn't sound happy of the thought of Nina giving birth, his voice was full of worry about his beloved wife.

Nina finally stood up. She looked at Gastón with wide eyes, her hands were holding her big baby bump. Her voice shuddered a little when she said.

"Gastón, I have never felt a pain that could be even half as powerful as this one. I think that the contractions just started." She said, half happy, half scared.

Gastón tried to steady his breathing, because this action had scared him. He said. "Okay. So we have to wait, right? Until it increases on the intensity." He assured himself.
